This s**t has to stop. If you're paying a PT and they can't show you a written 12-week plan, aren't tracking your sessions week to week, and answer every food question with "just be in a calorie deficit", you're being undercoached.
Ask the questions: how long is the deficit, what's the exit strategy, when does muscle-building start, what does maintenance look like. If your PT can't answer, the missing plan is why nothing's changed.
