The energy of a shared practice is unmatched. 🤍

There’s a beautiful moment in a class where the collective breath takes over, especially when navigating challenging, deep postures like Supta Kurmasana. Looking around the room and seeing everyone honoring their own depth, flexibility, and strength is pure inspiration.

Shoutout to the amazing expressions of dedication, joy, and presence caught in close-up. Whether holding the bind, breathing through the intensity, or softening into a final supine twist, we show up for ourselves and each other.

Thank you for bringing your focus, heart and energy to JQY!

Finding the perfect blend of effort and ease. We started by building a strong foundation in Warrior II, feeling the energy radiate from the ground up. From there, we opened up the side body, reaching through the fingertips in Reverse Warrior.

Moving mindfully, we explored deep binds in Extended Side Angle, testing our flexibility and focus, before lifting off into the expansive freedom of Half Moon pose. A beautiful reminder that balance isn't static, it's a continuous dance.

The journey only you would feel the difference.

Every master was once a beginner. 🌿

This session was the perfect reminder that props aren't just for assistance, they are tools for deeper exploration. By incorporating the balls, we were able to access variations that safely test our core connection and spatial awareness.

From overhead extensions to wide legged side stretches, every single person met the challenge with grace and curiosity.

Beautifully done, everyone. Enjoy the post-practice glow!

Flip your perspective and the rest will follow.

A beautiful glimpse into our recent progression flow dedicated to the mechanics of Tripod Headstand. Moving into advanced inversions requires an honest balance of physical strength and mental surrender.

We began by gathering our focus and checking in with foundational neck and shoulder tracking, building heat through forearm lines, and testing structural weight shifts.

The magic truly happened in the collective energy of the room. Whether discovering flight for the first time in a compact tuck or utilizing safe, guided partner adjustments to explore extension safely, every practitioner met their edge with absolute presence.

Grateful for this community that holds space for growth, curiosity, and new perspectives!

Rather than relying on momentum, pressing into the wall forced us to engage our core, square our hips, and find true extension through the limbs.

There is a unique kind of focus that comes with prop-supported work. It strips away the urge to rush through transitions and invites you to fully inhabit the shape you are making. Grateful for this dedicated group of practitioners who are always willing to experiment, play, and grow on the mat!

Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self." — The Bhagavad Gita

A beautiful look inside our recent Hatha Vinyasa flow, where every movement was an exploration of balance, alignment, and internal support. We explored the transitions between grounding stillness and dynamic extension—tucking in to find our center, lifting into powerful one-legged bridges, and testing our edge in lateral leg raises.

When we practice together, we don't just share a space; we build an environment of mutual encouragement that allows everyone to deepen their personal practice safely and mindfully.

Thank you to everyone who brought their focus and light to the mat today! 🙏

From grounding stretches to fiery balance challenges, here is a look inside our beginner’s ball yoga. By using stability balls, we safely explore deeper ranges of motion, build sneakily strong cores, and have a ton of fun with our alignment.

Here is how this flow came together:

The Warm-Up: Decompressing the spine and hamstrings with supported forward folds.

Core Activation: Testing our deep stabilizers with seated single-leg lifts.

Power & Length: Building a solid foundation in a strong Warrior I overhead reach.

Dynamic Flow: Opening up the chest and side body through a strong Warrior II variation.

Lateral Space: Lengthening the entire side profile with supported side leans.

Balance Play: Capping it off with a fun, focused side-plank challenge over the ball.

Every wobbly moment just means your body is learning and getting stronger! The ball is the perfect companion to meet you exactly where you're at. 🙌

Looking at these photos, the story isn't just about the final shape, it’s about the deliberate focus required to get there.

We started with the wall as our feedback mechanism, using it to square the hips and find a true baseline for our stability.

Transitioning that awareness to the center of the room changes the equation entirely. You can see the shift in concentration during the freestanding figure-four holds.

A beautiful reminder that balance is never static; it's a continuous, active conversation between the mind and the body.

Ever tried a "strapped and blocked" L-sit or boat pose variation?

In this Hatha Vinyasa sequence, we locked our alignment into place using a strap around the mid-back and feet, then used blocks to elevate our hands and find true, honest lift.

When you take away the ability to cheat the alignment, you have to tap straight into the core, hip flexors, and breath. The smiles on our faces say it all, it’s tough, it’s grounding, and it makes you feel incredibly light once you find that sweet spot of suspension!

Drop a 💥 if you love (or love to hate) deep core work!
