🚨 REFEREE CONTROVERSY BEFORE LAZIO VS AC MILAN! 😳🟥

The referee appointed for Lazio vs AC Milan, Matteo Marcenaro, was involved in a controversial VAR decision during Milan’s 1-0 win over Bologna last season.

In the final minutes, Marcenaro initially awarded a penalty after Christopher Nkunku went down in the box. However, after reviewing the replay, he overturned his decision.

According to the published referee conversations, VAR official Michael Fabbri strongly insisted that Nkunku had initiated the contact. Marcenaro even questioned whether the defender had moved toward Nkunku, but Fabbri maintained that the penalty should be cancelled.

Fabbri was later suspended for two matches following the incident. 👀

Calciomercato reports that Alphadjo Cissé’s sensational start at AC Milan has caught the attention of the Italy national team staff. 🔴⚫

A tactical concern is emerging around Milan’s new striker. For the second consecutive Serie A match, Ramos was reportedly the Rossoneri’s hardest-working player in terms of distance covered. Against Juventus, the Portuguese forward ran more than 11 km. 😳

The problem? All that defensive work could be coming at the expense of his main job — scoring goals. 🎯

Ramos is constantly dropping deep to press and help the midfield, leaving him without enough energy to attack the box when Milan’s moves reach the final third.

And there’s another issue: Milan are struggling to consistently deliver quality balls into dangerous areas, meaning Ramos is often running a lot but receiving very little service. 👀

The refereeing controversy from Juventus 1-1 Milan continues. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Alphadjo Cissé’s 68th-minute goal may have come after a foul in the build-up. 👀

📌 30’ — Maurizio Mariani did not show Pervis Estupiñán a yellow card for stopping a promising attack.

📌 65’ — A contact between Mario Gila and Randal Kolo Muani inside Milan’s box was correctly judged as legal, although Juventus should have received a corner rather than a goal kick.

📌 68’ — THE BIG CONTROVERSY 🚨
Koné De Winter stepped on Kolo Muani’s right foot with his heel during the early phase of Milan’s attack. Mariani allowed play to continue, and VAR did not intervene.
