4th National Catchball Championship 2026 Kicks Off with Grand Opening Ceremony in Karachi.

KARACHI, The 4th National Catchball Championship 2026 brought thrilling sports action to Karachi, taking place from August 13th to 14th at the Mini Sports Complex in Nazimabad. The two-day event showcased top-tier talent from across the country, uniting athletes and fans in a celebration of sportsmanship and national pride.

The championship began with a vibrant and colorful opening ceremony, setting an energetic tone for the tournament. Chief Guest Umer Laila Kalsoom President PCF officially declared the championship open, addressing the athletes and praising the highly festive atmosphere at the complex.

This year’s championship featured competitive squads representing six regions:
* Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP),
Balochistan, Islamabad, Sindh White

Opening Match Sindh vs. Balochistan
The tournament commenced with a highly anticipated opening match between Sindh and Balochistan. In the host province, Sindh, secured a commanding victory over Balochistan, winning the match by 15–10 points.

Technical Officials
The smooth operation and fair play of the matches were expertly overseen by the dedicated panel of technical officials:
* Ali, Ahmed Arshad, Shazia, Safuddai

In this occasion, Maqbool Arain, President Pakistan Students Olympic Association, Mr. Adnan Tareen, Secretary Sindh Catchball Association and guest.

The National Catchball Championship continues to be a premier platform for promoting the sport at the grassroots level, providing athletes from all provinces the opportunity to compete at the highest national standard.

🏐 Congratulations to Catchball South Africa🇿🇦

The International Catchball Federation (ICF) would like to extend its warmest congratulations to the South African Catchball community for hosting an outstanding tournament and for the remarkable growth of the sport throughout the country.
With more than 450 players and new players joining every day, South Africa is demonstrating what passion, dedication, and community-building can achieve through sport.
The energy, commitment, and leadership shown by the players, coaches, volunteers, and organizers are helping to create one of the most exciting and rapidly growing Catchball communities in the world.
We are especially excited to see the continued expansion of Catchball across South Africa and look forward to strengthening our collaboration in the years ahead.
Next tournament in Durban in December and Cape Town during the Easter weekend, where we hope to meet more of the incredible women driving this movement forward.
Together, we are not just growing a sport—we are building communities, creating opportunities, and empowering women through leadership and teamwork.

On behalf of the International Catchball Federation, we extend our warmest congratulations to the Kenyan Catchball Association for the outstanding organization and leadership. It is truly exciting to see the growth of catchball and the powerful community it builds.
