The International Catchball Federation (ICF) would like to extend its warmest congratulations to the South African Catchball community for hosting an outstanding tournament and for the remarkable growth of the sport throughout the country.
With more than 450 players and new players joining every day, South Africa is demonstrating what passion, dedication, and community-building can achieve through sport.
The energy, commitment, and leadership shown by the players, coaches, volunteers, and organizers are helping to create one of the most exciting and rapidly growing Catchball communities in the world.
We are especially excited to see the continued expansion of Catchball across South Africa and look forward to strengthening our collaboration in the years ahead.
Next tournament in Durban in December and Cape Town during the Easter weekend, where we hope to meet more of the incredible women driving this movement forward.
Together, we are not just growing a sport—we are building communities, creating opportunities, and empowering women through leadership and teamwork.
