20kg ⬇️ in 20 weeks 📸🔥

Yes you read that right
3.2 stone ⬇️
44 lbs ⬇️

You see a lot of transformations online but this transformation was truly life changing.

12th of January this year Sean and myself stepped foot into a treatment centre broken men. He made a huge call to seek help and better himself and make a life for his family.

Fast forward to today. He’s in the shape of his life physically but more importantly mentally. Transformations are great I love helping people but this one was extra special for me.

Sean now has a 5 month old baby boy. He is an amazing father and partner to his girlfriend. He also has launched his own online coaching business which is thriving.

This photoshoot was a full circle moment for both of us. He didn’t miss a beat during the photoshoot prep.

We were working together for 8 weeks when we decided to lock in for a 12 week photoshoot prep. He didn’t miss a beat during the 12 weeks.

Now remember at 12 weeks out Sean had a new Born baby. Was working full time job and somewhere in the middle of this decided to become a qualified personal trainer and start his own business.

Many people won’t start because they feel it’s not the right time. I can assure you timing wasn’t ideal for this man. But we worked together and created a plan that suited his extremely busy schedule.

A complete U-turn down for the better.

If you want to change your physique and life as a result I am taking on 5 clients this September.

Dm me the word “READY” il shoot you over the details 🤝🫡

Having a step goal can be a useful tool in both a fat loss phase and a gaining phase.

If we take a round number like 10000 steps. On average this will help you burn 500 calories per day.
Multiply 7 days by 500. That gives you a total of 3500 calories burned throughout the week on steps alone.

The big piece of advice I have is break the big number down rather than looking at it as this massive number and it not been attainable. Try this few tips over the next few days and watch your step count drastically improve.

Your exercise selection is very important. Avoid doing different variations of the same movement.

I see this quite a lot in the gym. Guys doing the same exercise just a different way. You’re making a lot of your training redundant by doing this.

Come have a look into my journey as an online coach.

Been lots of high points along the way and like any journey some low points also.

The number one thing stopping you from building muscle is you are moving weight from A-B.

So you’re not actually controlling and lifting the weight. Moving weight and lifting it are two very different things.

I own a busy gym I would estimate 60% of everyone training here is moving weight and not lifting it.

I see people with half the muscle I have lifting double the weight I lift. Make it make sense 🤔

Focus on the muscle your trying to target
Pick a weight that you can manage
Engage the muscle group you are targeting
Control the concentric and eccentric part of the movement
Push yourself to failure or as close to failure as you can possibly go

This is for all you shift workers out there! You can make progress when working on shift and this post proves that?

Is it tricky to negotiate? Absolutely! But with the correct plan in place it’s possible.

I have built a programme specifically for shift workers who are struggling to see real results.

They key is to look at the week as a whole rather than panicking when you can’t fit things in on certain shifts.

If you’re a shift worker and you want to see results.
Simply DM me the word “SHIFT” we will get you set up with a plan tailored to you

I blamed my fast metabolism for years as the reason I couldn’t put muscle on.

The reality was it had very little to do with that. This was just a lie I told myself to justify mediocre results for years. It was my way of taking responsibility off myself.

For me the real issue was lacking consistency and having no accountability. This kept me stuck for years literally!

When I look back at the first 7 years of my training it’s quite embarrassing to see how much little progress I actually made. I didn’t see any value in sleep, recovery , supplementation or a programme. I always thought understood the importance of nutrition but never actually understood nutrition and how to structure a day of eating.

For me all that changed when I asked for help. The first 6 months I worked with a coach I made more progress than the previous 6 years.

You could save yourself so many wasted years by just not doing what I did. Ask for help and your progress will increase 10 fold. Don’t let excuses cloud your judgment the real reason you can’t progress is only you know that deep down. We live in an age where help is so readily available.

I think I did the whole “Balanced approach” things pretty okay.

You can work events around your plan. Being on a plan is not a death sentence. It doesn’t require you to go into lockdown or live like a monk.

Few key takeaways here are

Prioritise protein when your away in your meals.
Keep active where possible maintain your step goal
Possibly even train when your away
STAY HYDRATED (I can not stress this enough)
Get straight back to it when the event is over.

If you’re struggling with getting some balance. Drop me a message today and let’s have a chat.
