ICC MALTA 24 The International Challenge Cup 2024 will be in Beautiful Malta 15th - 17th of November

On behalf of the ICC Committee and everyone involved in the ICC Family, we were saddened to hear that a Maltese Snooker Legend Frans Bugeja sadly passed away.

Our recent journey with the ICC brought us to beautiful Malta were we joined together to experience a fantastic, warm welcoming group of people led by the President of the Malta Billiards and Snooker Association Ivan Brincat.

Frans was an incredible Snooker man and was very instrumental to a lot of the good things at the Malta Snooker Academy which is a magnificent facility.

Frans was a fantastic ambassador for the game in Malta and leaves a fantastic legacy behind.

The ICC are a family and Malta is our newest member and along with the Republic of Ireland, France, Northern Ireland and Scotland when we lose someone that important in our family we all grieve.

Everyone in the ICC wants to send our sincere condolences and may this great snooker man rest in peace.

The ICC Family are very saddened to hear of the passing of a Great Snooker Man, a friend and a gentleman.
Ger Murray was without a doubt a person that everyone in the game respected and trusted
His honesty and discretion was unmatched and when it came to Snooker, Ger was one of the best.
His service to RIBSA and SBI was unprecedented and the man from Edenderry put a smile on everyone's face
The ICC Committee and extended team and Nations express our sincere condolences to Ger's Family and close friends.
Another great character of our game has gone to his great reward and will be missed, but NEVER Forgotten.

Rest in peace Mr Ger Murray.

The ICC Malta 24 was a fantastic tournament hosted by the Malta Billiards and Snooker Association under the guidance of its President Ivan Brincat and the support of Sport Malta.
The kindness and Friendship of all involved was second to none
Congratulations to the Republic of Ireland who were the eventual winners led by their Captain Robbie Murphy who had a fantastic 18 out of 18 wins
Thanks also to the hosts Malta, Northern Ireland, Scotland and France
A special thank you to the President of the EBSA Mr Maxime Cassis who attended a special shout out to Mr Tommy Cunningham who worked his socks off
Next year the ICC goes to France
