Another fantastic performance from our U11 Girls today as they continued their football journey with great determination, teamwork and plenty of smiles along the way. 💚⚽
The girls worked hard for each other from start to finish, showing excellent effort, skill and a real team spirit throughout the game. Every week they continue to learn, improve and grow in confidence, and it's a credit to the players, coaches and parents who support them.
Well done girls — keep up the great work! 👏🇳🇬

Our reserves survived an early scare to advance to the quarter finals of the reserve cup at the expense of local rivals Robinstown on Wednesday evening. A very even first half , notable for a very well taken Robinstown goal , ended with the hoops trailing their neighbors at the break. Celtic came out for the second half with all guns blazing and three goals in a seven minute spell , a brace by substitute Scott O Leary either side of a tidy finish from Liam Reilly , put the away side in the driving seat. A harsh penalty award with thirty minutes to go left Trim with the slimmest of margins but they managed the game well and indeed were unlucky not to extend their lead with good chances falling to Reilly , Niall Farrell and O ‘Leary who was denied his hat trick by a wonder save from ex Celtic stopper Kevin Dalton who played well against the team he represented for the past ten years. Next up its back to Fitzsimon Cuo action with the visit of Oldxastle to Tully Park next Friday with another quarter final place the reward on offer. As usual all supppet greatly appreciated.

Johnstown 1-3 Trim Celtic

Match Report

The MDL was the venue for a cracking game of football in glorious sunshine as first played second in Division 1 of the league.
With the squad stretched to the limit due to absences there was a makeshift look to the bench, but team spirit shone through in the end and Trim secured a valuable 3 points to move to the top of the table.
Johnstown dominated the early exchanges and played with pace but found a Trim defence determined to thwart them. A long range half chance from Daniel J almost broke the deadlock and flew narrowly over but that miss seemed to give the Trim side a bit of confidence.
An expertly floated corner from Eoin F was powered to the net by George G with an unstoppable header to put the Trim lads one up. Johnstown equalised almost immediately when a long ball from their keeper was latched onto by the Johnstown striker who rounded Dan B and tapped it in. A superb save a few minutes later from Dan in goals kept it at 1-1 at half time.
The second half saw a more commanding display and the crucial goal came from Adam O and was put beyond doubt when debutant Conor N coolly rounded the keeper and slotted home.
In the end a deserved 1-3 victory, but one built on heart and fierce determination all
over the field. Brilliant performances from Jamie and Mattie at the back and Eoin and Conor in attack, but the stand out performer was George who lead by example in an all round superb display at centre back.

A huge congratulations to our U11 Girls who marked their first-ever competitive match with a fantastic victory in the Eddie Higgins Cup Round of 16! 👏💚🤍

The girls showed tremendous determination, teamwork and courage throughout the game, earning a well-deserved 1-0 win and a place in the next round.

Making your competitive debut is a special moment, and to come away with a victory makes it even more memorable. A brilliant achievement for all the players, coaches and parents who have supported the team on their journey so far.

A fantastic performance from our U13 Girls Premier side as they secured a well-deserved victory over Athboy in Tully Park.
The girls worked tirelessly from the first whistle to the last, showing great determination, teamwork and quality throughout the match. Their hard work was rewarded with two excellent goals and a clean sheet to cap off a superb team display.
