Healthy eating doesn't require perfect circumstances. It requires planning.

This wrap took me 2 minutes to throw together and went into a lunch box before I left the house. No drive-thru, no 'I was too busy', no 'I didn't have time'.

The truth is, most people don't have a motivation problem — they have a preparation problem.
If your goals matter, you make decisions before you're hungry, tired, and looking for excuses.

Being busy is real. Life is hectic. But laziness dressed up as excuses will keep you exactly where you are.

Sometimes your body tells you what it needs.
After a heavy week of training, my body was screaming for carbohydrates.
🍕 Pizza yesterday
🍝 Spaghetti Bolognese today
Before anyone panics, this isn't a "cheat weekend." The pizza sauce and pasta sauce were homemade, the meatballs were made with 5% lean mince, fresh egg pasta, mozzarella and buffalo mozzarella.
The bigger challenge for me isn't what I eat when I'm hungry — it's how much I eat.
When training volume goes up, appetite often follows. Recovery matters. Fuel matters. But portion control still matters.
Nutrition isn't about being perfect. It's about understanding what your body needs, giving it quality food, and balancing performance with discipline.
Train hard. Recover properly. Eat like an adult.

Reverse sled dragging is one of the best exercises you can do for knee strength and health.

Unlike running or jumping, it places very little impact on the joints while heavily targeting the quadriceps (front of the thighs), which help support and stabilise the knees.

Because there is no lowering phase, it also causes less muscle soreness while improving strength, conditioning, and blood flow around the knee joint.

Today's session: 190kg reverse sled drags. Heavy work, but great for building stronger, more resilient knees. 💪

Bettystown today, nearly 27°C. Everyone enjoying the beach, soaking up the sun… and this crow spotted me taking a scenic photo and decided he was ready for his close-up.
No warning. No contract. Just pure confidence.

Pretty sure he flew off saying:

Yesterday I played a bit too hard. Today I pay for it properly.
Training starts a day earlier. Food cleaned up from this morning. Back to discipline. Back to structure. Back to work.
One bad day doesn’t define you. Staying down does.
The goal isn’t perfection. The goal is correcting course fast and keeping moving forward. 💪
