🎃👻 Halloween fun at the club! 🕸️🧡

It’s been a spooktacular week at the club, with all of our sports sections enjoying their own Halloween parties and celebrations! 🎃

It’s lovely to see the club buzzing with so much fun, laughter and Halloween spirit. From fantastic costumes to plenty of smiles, there’s been lots going on and great memories made along the way! 🧙‍♀️🦇

A big thank you to everyone who helped organise the celebrations and to all who got involved.

THROWBACK THURSDAY | TENNIS MASTERS TOUR 500 – 2026! ☀️🎾

Throwing it back to a fantastic weekend of tennis, sunshine, great competition and brilliant sportsmanship! What a weekend it was! Looking back at these memories has us wishing we could bring back not just the tennis, but THIS WEATHER TOO! Can we please have it back? 🙏

A huge thank you to Martin Reilly Motors for his generous sponsorship and continued support, and to all our amazing volunteers who gave up their time and worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make the event such a success. We couldn’t do it without you!

🎾🎾 What a fantastic weekend at the Tennis Masters Tour 500 – 2026! 🎾🎾

A brilliant weekend of tennis, great competition, and fantastic sportsmanship! It was wonderful to see everyone come together and make the event such a success.

🎾🎾 What a fantastic week of tennis at Sligo Racquet Club! 🎾🎾

The annual Sligo Tennis Club Championships brought together close to 100 players for seven days of competitive, enjoyable and, at times, nail-biting tennis!

Running from 13th–19th September, the Championships catered for players across the club, with sections ranging from Advanced right through to Novice and Beginner. There were plenty of great rallies, close matches and some very competitive encounters along the way.

🏆 Finals Day was a fitting finale to the week, with the Main Event draws producing some excellent tennis, while the Consolation rounds ensured players had further opportunities to compete and enjoy their tennis right through to the final day.

It was fantastic to see newer players competing alongside more experienced members, and despite the wet weather, the courts were full of energy throughout the week. 🎾🌧️

A huge congratulations to all of our players who took part and gave it their all on court. 👏

And a massive thank you to our generous sponsor, Fix You Physio, for supporting this year’s Club Championships.

JUNIOR TENNIS
Classes available on Mondays and Saturdays for ages 6–12+.

⚠️ Some tennis classes are currently FULL — our waiting list is active!

JUNIOR BADMINTON
Wednesday and Thursday classes available for ages 5–17.

JUNIOR SQUASH
Some spaces are still available on Sundays! It’s not too late to join the term.
