What a result for East Cork riding club winning the Team Dressage Competition at Skevanish hosted by South West riding club.
Cecilia Foster won the Elementary class, Laura Pope won the P2 class and had the top score of the day, Margaret Manning came 4 th in the P3 class and Heather Barry rode two beautiful tests on Lizzie’s 1st team competition day. Patricia O Brien won the individual 70 cm class.
Susan Heffernan came 3rd in the walk trot test on her 1 st competition day out for the club. Well done 👏 all.

Congratulations Pope and Jack!!! They stole the show at Kilbride Pony and Cob Showing Society Show on the weekend in Kilkenny! Bringing home Gold medal 🥇 and Championship Sash plus all the other frillies required to take the well deserved podium prize 🏆!! Congrats 🥳 Laura and Jack!!! 🐎✨️ SWRC Dressage Lessons ✨🐎

We’re delighted to add another event to our May calendar with upcoming dressage lessons at Skevanish EC with instructor Vanessa O’Sullivan.

These small group sessions will focus on improving flatwork, confidence, accuracy, shapes, test riding and overall way of going in a supportive and relaxed environment.

The greys were out in force today representing the club in the 70/80cm AIRC South West showjumping qualifier and came a very respectable 2 nd place. Trish O’Brien had an unlucky 4 faults in her 1st round and a fantastic clear 2nd round, both over 9 fences on Lauren’s Diamond . Cecilia Foster and Barbara Dundon both had double clear rounds on Abbeyside Rory and LNG Cruising Rox. The final score being four faults.
