This 18 Hole championship golf course was co-designed by Ryder Cup player, Des Smyth and Irish Amateur International, Declan Branigan. Ballyneety Golf Club is a parkland golf course with sand-based greens and tees all built to US PGA standards. It is located 10Km south of Limerick City, off the M7, with easy access to Shannon Airport. Ballyneety Golf Club seeks to provide the highest standards of

golfing excellence, offering an enjoyable and exhilarating golfing experience. After the golf, relax in the Vines Grill and Wine Bar/Restaurant which is located in the unusual glass enclosed club house. This restaurant, from its elevated position, commands excellent views over the 18th green. The McSweeney Golf Academy provides a full range of services at it's state of the art facility, which is situated next to the club house and is a golf centre of excellence, under the stewardship of Donal McSweeney, PGA Head Professional. Our Administrative Staff, Golf Professionals, Restaurant Personnel and additional staff are committed to delivering a golfing experience, combining tradition and elegance with modern amenities, in an atmosphere that encourages members to become friends.

📘 😁 What a beautiful evening we had at Ballyneety Golf Club last Friday, May 29th, for the Launch of a book called ‘Miracle in Ballyneety’ by Ivan Morris aided by many esteemed club members and many photos from 👏🏻

We were honoured with the number of dignitaries from the golf world including CEO of Golf Ireland Mr Mark Kennelly, President Fiona Delargy and Chair Paul Haran. From the political world attendees included Minister Niall Collins, Cllr Ward, Kieran O’Donnell, Willie ODea, Senator Marie Byrne, Cllr Brid Teefy and more details to follow…..
