Strandhill Golf Club will host a free Rules of Golf information evening with Mark Wehrly, Director at Golf Ireland and International Rules Referee in the clubhouse on Monday, 15th June at 6.30 p.m. This is sure to be an invaluable event for all golfers and will have a specific focus on our own golf course so be sure to mark it in your diary! Well done to our Mixed Fourball team and managers, Colm and Bronagh, who overcame Roscommon G.C. on Thursday 4th June - best of luck in the next round. At the same time, hard luck to our Jimmy Bruen team, who lost out to Carrick-On-Shannon G.C. at the death last Friday evening. A sincere thank you to all of the Jimmy Bruen team members as well as team captain, Declan McCabe & vice-captain, Martin Nicholson for representing their club so well.
