U14B Girls Cup Q/Final Result: Bohs 3; Kilmac 1.
Our u14 girls season came to an end last night in Bohs when after a tough game the home team came out on top. Even though Kilmac started well, with Sophie Grant and Lola Curran Kett coming close, it was the home side who took the lead on 15mins with a long range shot. Kilmac created some good chances after this, with Lacey Veale's effort going just wide and Lola skimmed the crossbar on 25mins. Half time 1.0.
Kilmac played some really good football in the second half but found the Bohs defence hard to break down and they took advantage of some hesitant defending to make it 2-0. Our girls kept showing some great determination and Winnah Shanahan ran on to a pass from Emmie Power to make it 2-1. Constant Kilmac pressure almost payed dividends with a couple of chances going narrowly wide. Against the run of play on 65mins Bohs made it 3-1 from a free kick. The girls kept going to the end but unfortunately it wasn't our day. Well done to the girls, they have had a brilliant season and represented the Club, their families and themselves with great dignity wherever they played.
Team: Hannah Lowe, Ava Wall, Eve O'Shea, Robyn Kirwan, Lacey Veale, Ellie Curran Kett, Emmie Power, Ciara Whelan, Alice Comerford, Leah O'Donnell, Sophie Grant, Winnah Shanahan, Lola Curran Kett, Cara Grace, Ava Curran, Katie Coady and Kate Walsh.

U11C League Result: Carrick 4 - Kilmac 2
Our u11 boys were in action in Tom Drohan Park this morning v Carrick for a very entertaining game between 2 evenly matched teams! 2 quick goals from Carrick in the first 10 minutes left the boys a lot of work to do but they never dropped their heads. A great goal by Cal just before half time left the score 2-1.
Carrick scored twice more in the second half and another goal from Cal, coming from some brilliant play between Tyler, Bill, Ger and Bobby left the score 4-2 at full time.
Well done to our boys being down some regulars today and battling through to the final whistle πŸ‘πŸ’ͺ⚽️

U14B Girls League Result: Kilmacthomas 2, Southend 3.
Our u14 girls completed their league campaign Wednesday evening against league leaders Southend in Celtic Park, Annestown. Short a couple of regulars, the girls fielded with 11 players and put in a brilliant shift in a very entertaining game. Kilmac had the best of the early exchanges and took the lead when a Lacey Veale corner was deflected to the net by a Southend defender. We continued to press high after this and created a couple of chances before the visitors levelled on 24mins. Half time 1-1.
The exchanges were even for the early part of the second half, but Southend had a good spell midway through the half and scored twice to take control of the game but Kilmac as usual never gave up and got a goal back when under pressure from Sophie Grant, a Southend player miscued a clearance which ended up in the net. This gave the girls a lift, even though tiredness was a factor they tried hard to get the equalizer but just ran out of time. Our thanks to Seaview Celtic for the use of their pitch. And congratulations to Southend on winning the league.
Team: Hannah Lowe, Ava Wall, Eve O'Shea, Robyn Kirwan, Lacey Veale, Emmie Power, Kate Walsh, Leah O'Donnell, Alice Comerford, Sophie Grant and Cara Grace.
