The Ultimate Summer Adventure for Young Explorers ☀️

Our Airfield Experience Summer Camps are back and we have 2 fantastic camps available in July and August for ages 6-8 and 9-12.

👣 Ages 6–8: A shorter, gentle introduction to outdoor adventure with plenty of hands-on fun and guided activities.
🕙 10:00am – 2:00pm

🧭 Ages 9–12: A full-day adventure for older children ready to dive deeper into nature, teamwork, and outdoor challenges.

Airfield Estate is offering all Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate students free entry throughout June ✨

From 1st – 30th June, students can take a well-earned break from their studies and enjoy some time in nature, completely free of charge.

With acres of open space, beautiful gardens, and a working farm, Airfield Estate is the perfect place to relax, unwind, and reset during what can be a challenging and stressful time.

How it Works:
- Simply show your valid exam number at the ticket desk on arrival
- Offer available to Junior Cert and Leaving Cert students only
- No need to book in advance

A reminder also that we are now open until 6:30 pm for all visitors in June ☀️

Did you know Ireland is one of the least biodiverse countries in the EU and one in five of our species are threatened with extinction?

This is a problem because biodiversity is critical to help grow the food we eat and keep ecosystems healthy. 🌍🌱

Airfield helps protect biodiversity by using organic practices and creating safe habitats for wildlife. In honor of International Day for Biodiversity, here are just a few of the species that call Airfield home. 💙

🐝 Happy World Bee Day from Airfield Estate!

Did you know we're home to 12 colonies of bees right here on the estate? These incredible little pollinators are quietly working away to help grow the foods we eat everyday. Bees are small, but their impact on our food system is enormous.

Here are two simple ways you can help bees thrive:
🌼 Plant wildflowers — even a pot on a windowsill makes a difference
🚫 Avoid using pesticides in your garden or green spaces

Next time you spot a bee, remember: there’s a good chance it’s helping put food on your plate 💛🍯
