At Airfield, we champion sustainable gastronomy everyday. All of our organic produce, including our Jersey milk, is delivered to our onsite restaurant and cookery school or sold directly to our visitors. This means that the majority of the food we produce is consumed within a 1 km radius!

Buying and eating local food is not only better for the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions from transport, it also boosts the local economy by supporting nearby farmers, chefs, and business owners. Appreciating local food also helps preserve local culinary traditions.

We are thrilled to share that the Seen and Heard exhibition from The Museum of Childhood Ireland, Músaem Óige na hÉireann will be hosted in Airfield for the month of June. This powerful exhibition dives into contemporary life, history, culture, and the evolution of children's rights from medieval times to the present day.

Developed through creative workshops and school visits in Birr and Dublin, Seen and Heard uses art and storytelling to spark curiosity and highlight major historical milestones✨
