The history of the current Longmeadows pitch and putt facility is a story of grass roots, bottom up development of a community resource for Ballyfermot. Dublin City Council contributed the land for the course and its parks department carries out continuous improvements and the day to day maintenance. Longmeadows leisure company operates the course and has the responsibility for the further develop

ment and expansion of the overall facility and to increase the range of activities it currently offers and to ensure the operations long term financial sustainability.
