🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️Club 800m Championships 2026 🏆

Well done to all our athletes who took part in Wednesday night's Club 800m Championships. It was a great evening of racing in Tallaght, with 26 athletes in action as they competed for the 800m crown. 👏👏

Congratulations to our 2026 champions, Ellen Cronin and Geoffrey Alexandre, on their impressive victories. 🏆

🏃‍♂️ Great Manchester Run Half Marathon 🇬🇧

Well done to Joseph Whittle who took on the Half Marathon in Manchester on Sunday.

Joe completed the 13.1-mile course in a time of 1:28:55, running through the streets of Manchester past landmarks including Old Trafford and Salford Quays before finishing on Deansgate.

Congratulations Joe on a great run in Manchester. 🔵🟡

🇨🇭 Grand Prix Winterthur 2026 🇨🇭

Well done to Margaret O’Friel who took part in the 10km in Switzerland this weekend.

Running in warm conditions on a hilly course, Margaret finished 3rd in her age category.

Well done to Dearbhaile Rooney who ran the VHI Women's Mini Marathon in Dublin today! 👏🏃‍♀️

The annual 10km event brings together thousands of women from across Ireland in one of the country's biggest participation races.

Well done to all our members who ran at the Graded Meet 3 in Irishtown yesterday 👏

A strong night at the Dublin Senior 10k Champs with individual 🥈 Silver for Pierce and individual 🥉 Bronze for Geoffrey, along with 🥈 Team Silver 👏

🏆❄️ Winter League Presentation ❄️🏆

We celebrated in Nancy Hands last night as Hilary McDonnell was presented with the Winter League Cup 👏 A great achievement across the series, showing real consistency and commitment all winter 💪

Running from November 2025 to late March 2026, the league consisted of four cross-country races and two road races. It’s a six-race series with the best 4 results counting, plus bonus points and handicap starts.

A close battle for the podium with Mark Naylor and Neil Duffy taking 2nd and 3rd 👏

Huge thanks to our coaches, volunteers, timekeepers, results crew and photographers - who put so much effort into organising and driving the league all winter 🙌
