Something different coming to DONEGAL TOWN - Next Sunday 🙌

I’m collaborating with Salt Air light Therapy to bring you a beautiful breathwork & salt therapy experience.

For anyone who hasn’t heard of it, the salt room uses halotherapy, where you relax in a comfy chair and breathe in fine, dry salt particles. It’s designed to support respiratory health by helping to loosen mucus and clear the airways, and some people find it helpful for allergies and feeling less congested. It’s also really good for skin health & nervous system support.

We’re combining this with a guided breathwork experience, giving you time to slow down, regulate your nervous system, release some tension and reconnect with your body. So you’re getting a little bit of love for the lungs, the mind and the body all in one session 🤍

The chair alone is normally €30, but we’re doing the breathwork AND the salt therapy for €30 total 🙌🏼

We have added an extra time slot due to high demand for this type of session (10am & 11.30am)

This is an appreciation post for the fabulous Ciara at Physio Éireann 💕

Six weeks ago I was terrified to start lifting weights, but at 41 I knew I had to. Future me is depending on it!!

I have pins in both my arms, three mesh insertions in my tummy, I’ve had a disc replacement in my neck, gallbladder surgery and a pituitary tumour that messes with my hormones on a daily basis - trust me when I say that I didn’t think I could do this 😂😂

But here I am lifting weights that 21 year old me would be proud of 💪 and 61 year old me will thank me for!

Physio Eireann do trojan work for our community. Physiotherapy services, Pilates classes, StrongHER classes, chair Pilates classes, women’s health services…. The list goes on! But I want to highlight the incredible knowledge and care that those services are provided with - it is second to none.

Studio S are beyond proud to have these guys as part and parcel of the furniture here 😂 and we’re all so lucky to have such a service locally.

So guys, take it from me… I was scared of hurting myself, scared of how weak I was, scared of not doing it…. Scared of everything 😂😂 And here I am now in a few short weeks feeling more proud of myself than I have been in a very long time.

This has been a particularly irritating summer for hayfever for me! Anyone else? I’ve found my asthma has been aggravated too 🙃

But the salt room is honestly fantastic so if you or any of your family, suffer from congestion, chesty coughs, blocked or runny noses etc etc I can highly recommend the benefits of the salt room
