Get the runners ready for our Annual New Years day 5k run/walk to shake of the cobwebs for the year ahead.
Just a few wee lines on the reason and importance of our annual fundraiser to assist us in the upkeep of the Seanscoil.

“The Mullachdubh Seanscoil is the heartbeat of the community. A range of activities take place throughout the year including band practice for both the Mullaghduff Bands and drum and flute lessons ensure that the next generation carry on our long tradition. Other activities include Yoga, Pilates, Art classes, Irish dancing classes and the hall can also be hired for childrens birthday parties. The upkeep of the Seanscoil is essential and annual expenditure, taking in Insurance, Fire Safety, Water Charges, Heating and Lighting is in excess of €6000 per year. Our annual New Year 5 k is our main fundraiser and we ask you to be generous to ensure that the Seanscoil which is in it’s 128th year continues to flourish and be a great facility for the Community. Cancelled: Carrickfinn Coastal 10k and 5k.

Due to storm Fkoris scheduled to hit the North West and warnings issued by Met Eireann and local services are have been left with no option but to cancel the Carrickfinn Coastal 10k and 5k races in the interest of safety.

Very disappointing and unfortunate but we will look to possible reschedule to a later date.

Carrickfinn Costal Challenge

Carrickfinn Coastal Challenge 10k and 5k is on Bank Holiday Monday - August 4th, 2025:

Start Time: 11am (dictated by tides).

Registration: Open at 10am.

Cost: Donation on the day.

Refreshments and medals for all finishers.
