A day like Saturday takes a huge effort from many people – we are very lucky to have such a strong KIB community who we can rely on to pull together to make days like this happen, so we’d just like to thank everyone:
Firstly, we would like to thank the FAS workers for the immense work they put in to have both the training pitch and main field in pristine condition you all did Patrick very proud!
To all the stewards, referees, linesmen and umpires who helped ensure over 150 boys were able to enjoy top quality football matches throughout the day.
To those who provided the music on the day, Tom Foy the piper, Karen McInerney for singing the National Anthem and Karen Galvin and Friends for their traditional music.
To Brian and all in Cooney’s Restaurant thank you for keeping all our teams and management well fed! And to Brian Clancy Bus for ensuring that all the teams travelled safely between the pitch and Cooney’s.
A big thank you also to all our families who provided the food for the shop – from baked goods to sandwiches and teas and coffees. Thank you to those who helped run the shop and the tuck shop also.
Thank you to our first aiders who were on hand to assist: Suzie Molloy and Yvonne O’Brien
To our MC on the day Derrick Lynch and to Pat Murphy for the sound system
