One game this week but an important game, our senior lads are in action for their final ACFL league game of the season this weekend, and we'd love to see a big Castlerahan support in Mullagh Saturday evening.

Best of luck to Jamie Coleman, Shane Lynch and their team mates as they travel to the University of Limerick to represent the CMUL (Cavan Monaghan Underage League) against teams from every county in Ireland.
Both lads are proud Castlerahan players and Ballyjamesduff AFC players. While it's not GAA, it's great to see local talent representing their community on the national stage.

Great to see the club represented on the national stage today as Martin Cleary took charge of the Celtic Challenge Final between Monaghan and Leitrim.
Martin was joined by Seán Ó Raghallaigh and Seán McEnerney on umpire duty, with all three proudly sporting the club gear for the occasion.

🇶🇦🇶🇦Castlerahan GAA would like to acknowledge today, 6th June, as a significant date in Irish sporting and charitable history.

Sixty years ago today, on 6th June 1966, the very first Jimmy Magee All-Stars game was played in Ballyjamesduff. What began as an innovative charity match organised by the legendary sports broadcaster Jimmy Magee grew into a nationwide institution that raised millions of euro for charitable causes over the following decades. 

The inaugural match attracted huge crowds to Ballyjamesduff and marked the beginning of a remarkable journey that would see the Jimmy Magee All-Stars visit every county in Ireland and support countless worthy causes. 

As a club deeply rooted in the Ballyjamesduff area, Castlerahan GAA is proud to remember and celebrate this historic occasion and the legacy of Jimmy Magee, Connie Lynch, Dessie Soden and all those who helped make that first game possible. 
60 years on, we honour a day that placed Ballyjamesduff at the heart of a wonderful sporting and charitable tradition. 🇶🇦🏐
