⚽ *Lisnagry FC 2026/27 Registration Is Now Open* ⚽
We are delighted to share our latest club newsletter, with details of the major developments taking place at Scanlon Park.

Highlights include:
💧 Running water now in place
⚡ ESB ducting and undergrounding works due to begin shortly
🏠 Clubhouse construction planned to begin from mid-August
🥅 New ball-stop netting to be installed before the end of the year
💶 Over €241,000 of development work planned, with €173,417 in funding secured and an estimated €68,000 shortfall still to be raised
🙋 A call for new players, coaches, committee members and volunteers
🎟️ Our weekly club lotto, with a guaranteed €15,000 jackpot and €100 Lucky Dip prize

The U14 girls team brought their season to a close with a barbecue and evening swim down at Worlds End. A huge thank you to Tony McDermott, our local butcher, who kindly sponsored the tasty burgers. A big thank you to all the girls for their dedication and commitment to our team. This year was a tough season in the Premier Division but we always played with passion, spirit and enthusiasm. A big thank you to JC and Aoife Farrell who kept the momentum going and to Kieran Bowler, Eileen McCabe, Orla & Brian McNamara who assisted the team. Finally a huge thank you to Aileen Hogan and Ken Casey who have shown us incredible support over the years

Our U12A team had their end of season bash with a pizza party. We also had 3 trophies to hand out. Players player of the year went to the pocket rocket Luke Ashwell. Most improved player of the year went to Darragh O’Sullivan. And coaches player of the year of the year went to Ger Collins. All 3 lads well deserving of the awards after a great season which saw us gain promotion to the Premier league and we went up in style finishing ahead of a classy Fairview team by one point to be crowned league champions. Big shout out to the 3 players who made the LDSL team Harry, Ollie and Cory. Great ambassadors for our club. Thanks to all the parents for their continued support of the boys through sun, snow and rain all season. Onwards and upwards for these kids who are a pleasure to coach. Well done to all the boys.

The U13C team traveled to for a cup quarter final match. It was a great game between two evenly matched teams. Lisnagry went down in the first half through a goal that seemed to be offside, but was given nonetheless. Unperturbed, we kept our heads in the game, creating some really good chances and were rewarded just before half-time when Jack Mullane set up Donnacha Ryan, who scored a thunderbolt of a strike over the goalkeeper’s head and into the net. Half-time and all to play for. We came firing out of the blocks in the second half, working hard, fighting for every ball and were rewarded for their efforts with a lovely right-foot strike from Jack Mullane that sailed into the back of the net. Unfortunately, Corbally got two more goals, both scored from corner kicks which we were very unlucky to concede. Despite a late push from our lads, the game finished with the win to Corbally. It was a great game, the guys were upset at full time but they can hold their heads high and be proud. They battled hard and worked hard for each other as a team in the summer heat. We were short a few of our regulars so special thanks to U12 players Daniel Cabac and Sam Hurley who stepped up today. Each kid on the field did the Lisnagry colors proud today. The coaches can’t ask for any more than that.
