We had 3 boxers on at Letterkenny’s home show last night.
First up was Ruben Burns, boxing well and coming away with the win.
Faolán Caldwell was up next in a cracking contest against young Wacky Connors, narrowly losing out in a close fight. Faolán also picked up the best visiting boxer of the night.
Finally we had Declan Sweeney. Declan was slow to get going but came into the fight the more it went on, missing out on a split decision which could have went either way.

There will be no training Bank Holiday Monday 1st June. Back again Wednesday at 7pm 🥊

We had Faolán Caldwell and Declan Sweeney boxing in St Bridget’s home tournament last night in Clonmany.
Declan Sweeney was in impressive form getting the victory with a first round stoppage 🥊
Faolán boxed well coming out the wrong side of a close fight 🥊
Well done to both boys 🥊🥊

It was a win for Killian Caldwell at St John Bosco’s Tournament last night in Donegal Town. Killian had a great fight boxing well against a good lad Jay Gallagher, winning by unanimous decision 🥊
Bríona Caldwell also took to the ring boxing well in an exhibition against young Molly Mc Shane. Two girls to look out for in the future 🥊🥊

There will be no training Bank Holiday Monday 4th May. Back again Wednesday at 7pm 🥊

We had 3 boxers fighting in Áislann Rann na Feirste on Friday night at Annagrys home show. First in was young Corey Hay who fought an exhibition bout gaining good experience in front of a big crowd.
Next up was Tighearnach Duggan in only his second competitive fight. Tighearnach boxed very well gaining more experience losing out to the more experienced boxer.
Last in and last fight of the night was Declan Sweeney in what was a great fight from start to finish with both lads giving everything. Declan coming out the wrong side of the decision in what was a close fight.
