Discover the breathtaking countryside and beaches that Donegal has to offer on horseback. We have a wide range of superb horses and ponies to suit all standard of riders. There are opportunities for all to enjoy. Emphasis n safety is a major priority. The stables are open daily from 9:00am to 6:00pm during the summer months, hoilday periods and selected weekends. There are a wide range of opportun

ities such treking on beaches or countryside roads for one hour, two hours and three hour rides. Lessons are also provided on request by qualified instructiors.

Our Monty will officially be one month old this Friday, and my goodness, what a month it has been.

A few short weeks ago, we were wondering if he would ever be able to walk properly. Watching him struggle was heartbreaking at times, but this little fighter had other plans. Fast forward to today, and he’s running, bucking, jumping, and causing all sorts of mischief!

As an orphan foal, Monty has faced challenges from the very beginning, but he has shown us just how strong and determined he is. Watching him grow in confidence, strength, and personality over the past month has been nothing short of amazing.

We’re so proud of how far he’s come ❤️🐴

We would like to welcome our newest addition Monty, our beautiful new foal 💙

Sadly, his arrival hasn’t been the start we had hoped for. During her pregnancy, Monty’s mum developed a tumour and, despite everything, passed away after giving birth. She was incredibly brave, and we’re so grateful she brought this special little boy into the world.

Now it’s up to us.

Monty is already surrounded by love and care here at the stables, and we’ll be doing everything we can to help him grow strong, find his feet, and have the life he deserves.We are so lucky to have such a good little helper Boden.

We’d love for you to follow along with Monty’s journey — he’s a little fighter, and we’re hopeful for what’s ahead ✨
