Father and son team, Declan and Tadhg showed that in spite of unseasonably cold weather, fish can still be caught. Amongst a good number of bass caught between them, Tadhg managed a new PB of 60 cms and also a couple of mullet.
Neville Broad joined us for a couple of days fly fishing as did well to catch some cracking mullet and a couple of bass on the fly.

Just occasionally, all the stars align in bass fishing. Last week was one of those times. The increase in temperature got the bass feeding and they turned up in good numbers everywhere. The week was topped off with a magnificent 80cms fish for Henry Devall caught in bright sunshine on a Fish minnow. Jack and Dave up from Cork also enjoyed some super sport. Let's hope the season continues on like this. Well done guys

Variety is the spice of life apparently. Well, Nick, Simon and Nick had plenty variety for there stay. Bass (some on fly) po***ck, coalfish wrasse, sea trout and brown trout. But the undoubted highlight of the week was a beautiful spring salmon on a trout fly for Simon. Well done guys.

Great day out with Neville Broad and first day guiding for bass on the fly this season. 5 landed in total. Excellent fishing from Neville. Only disappointment was a very large foul hooked mullet that we were both sure was the bass of a lifetime😕. Hell of a fight though😁.
