Well that's the streets of Ballyshannon 5k done and dusted for another year.

We would like to start by thanking everyone who Registered and took part in the run your support is greatly appreciated and well done to everyone.
We would like to also mention all our minis parents who once again out did themselves and went above and beyond with the catering.

A massive thank you to Patricia Bradshaw and her team of powerful women who once again never let us down in dishing out the goodies to all our participants and cleaning up the mess. Without your help things would never run as smoothly.

A massive thank you to John Mc Gowan from Comfort Kitchens who once again donated some off the delicious warm delights and of course our mini couch and chef Graham Lynch for the lovely soup.

And last but not least our sponsors. You have been amazing in your generosity once again. Without you we would never be able to run such a successful 5k. Your generosity is truly appreciated and does not go unnoticed or forgotten. These businesses have been hit so many times in the last few weeks for donation but they never let their local community or the Ballyshannon Rugby Club down. We can't thank you enough.
Once again on behalf of the Ballyshannon Rugby Club I would like to give everyone a massive thank you.

The Ballyshannon Rugby Club would like to give a massive shout out and well done to this gentleman Desmond Brownlie. Desmond is 79 yrs young and comes every year to support the club. Well done and what a great achievement.

Just an update on our 5k today. Run is still going ahead. We would again advise anyone taken part and especially those that haven't registered and wish to do so this morning to please come early. Race is at 11am so last registration will be at 10.45. We have been informed that there will be a support protest in the area so we are advising everyone to leave in good time. Parking is also limited but there is parking out by bayview family practice and Billy Finn hall and you can walk across footbridge. There is also parking available in market yard. It is a cold morning but refreshments will be served after the race at the lakeside centre. We have been informed that the protest will not interfere with the run. Good luck everyone

Hi all
tomorrow is our annual 5k. We have been informed that there is a support protest in the area tomorrow so we are advising anyone taken part in the run to please come that little bit earlier especially anyone looking to register. The run is at 11am. This protest is a peaceful one in support of all those that have been protesting the last few days to save their lively and will not interfere with the run. Good luck to everyone taken part.
