Week 6 complete β
Another big step towards assessments for our PT students πͺ
This week we discussed how to prepare for the Mock Assessments, recapped exercise modifications for different fitness components, and explored how nutrition works in real-life settings.
Students also designed and exchanged 30-minute group classes, meaning they'll soon be coaching sessions created by someone else, a great way to develop adaptability and coaching confidence π
The practical side included a 35-minute spinning class where we analysed the class structure and fitness components being trained, followed by a range of bodyweight exercises and progressions.
The highlight of the day was the gym practical, where students completed their 30-minute PT Mock Assessments. It was fantastic to see everyone applying the knowledge and coaching skills they've developed over the last six weeks π₯
We're getting closer to the final assessments now - keep practising, keep learning, and keep building confidence πͺ
