The lads played another great game this evening continuing on their form following the last few wins but struggled to find the net even though they had plenty chances. We were 2 0 down before Padraic Mulvaney curled it from the outside of his right into the top right corner from outside the box finishing the first half 2 1 down.

The lads kept battling in the second half even though Kilmurry kept the pressure on until Dean Callaghan found the net from the corner flag to level up. Both teams narrowly missed out on chances right up to the last play of the game where an Òdhran Gallagher shot just slipped wide to finish the game a draw.

Well done to all the lads on amother great performance.

Rovers welcomed Conn Rangers this evening to the Valley played in windy conditions. Rovers started well and created a number of chances and were rewarded with the opener from Calum McDonnell from a James O’Hara corner in 22nd minute. It remained 1-0 at the break. Conn Rangers aided by the wind in the second half and got an equaliser in the 65th minute. Rovers regrouped and start to create changes. With the game heading into injury time a great run down the left by Brandon McGing into the penalty box crossed for Harry Callaghan to put Rovers 2-1 up. Rovers were awarded a late penalty when Callum McDonnell was taken down. Callum stepped up to score his second of the game. A big three points to push Rovers level on points at the top of the table.

Well done to the lads on another brilliant performance. They took full advantage of the wind in the first half with a high press and it wasnt long before Dean Callaghan found the net with a screamer from well outside the box. Quickly followed by 2 from Ódhran Gallagher and 1 each for Padraic Mulvaney and Luke McManamon to go in 5 up at the break.
We started the second half strong with Ódhran finishing another hat trick. Killala pushed up with the wind and gave Tommy O’Hara a busy second half but he managed to keep a clean sheet. Joshua McGinty finished the scoring with our seventh goal.

Well done to all the lads including all the subs that came on, there was some great team work and football played tonight.
