Every day I choose to show up as the 2.0 version of myself 🤍

2.0 does not arrive when everything is perfect. She shows up in the decision you make today, even when it is hard, even when you are tired and especially when nobody is watching.

No perfection needed here!! Just consistency, honesty and a willingness to try.

It’s something I encourage every one of my gals to embrace inside

We’re big on support in here, you’re not doing this alone anymore 💪🏼💕 What’s one thing you’re doing today?

Beginner friendly upper body workout for my gals 🫶🏽✨

You do not need a full gym membership or a perfectly equipped home setup, you just need two dumbbells and a kettlebell.

This one’s quick and easy so make sure to save this and give it a go this week!

Tag a workout buddy and go shred that back!! ✨

Do you notice a difference? The answer is probably no...

Because it’s what you’re NOT seeing that leads to these results ⬇️

👩🏻‍⚕️ Nurse 1: Is getting 7-9 hours of uninterrupted sleep
🫢 Nurse 2: Is getting 5 hours of broken sleep

👩🏻‍⚕️ Nurse 1: Is consciously eating meals with the 4GFS (protein, carbs healthy fats, fruits/veg)
🫢 Nurse 2: Is snacking on staff room donuts and opting for quick meals to make the day feel easier

👩🏻‍⚕️ Nurse 1: Takes the stairs, goes on quick walks and makes intentional choices to get more steps in
🫢 Nurse 2: Chooses convenience every day

👩🏻‍⚕️ Nurse 1: Doesn’t let one “off” moment or day stop her whole progress
🫢 Nurse 2: Beats herself up after a missed workout

My point is, consistency is the best way to see results. Not “starting over every Monday” because you skipped a workout.

If you’re a nurse trying to stay active around your roster, here is what actually works 👇🏼

Not a lot of fitness coaches understand that you come home after your shift feeling exhausted with all your energy gone.

When I worked as a travel nurse, I looked for ways around the generic fitness advice and this is what helped me:

🤍 Park further away and walk in (small steps add up)
🤍 Take the stairs over the lifts (trust me, this also makes a difference in your total steps)
🤍 Set an alarm on your phone or watch for hourly movement reminders on shift
🤍 Use your lunch break to get outside, even briefly
🤍 Set a daily time to call or facetime a friend who also likes to walk. Do it together!

None of this is revolutionary. But for a nurse on a twelve hour shift it makes a world of a difference.

This is for the nurse who is tired of feeling tired, who has tried the diets, bought the programs and still finds herself at the end of another shift feeling like she is running on nothing...

Who gives everything she has to her patients and comes home wondering when it will be her turn.

It is your turn. Right now. Today 🩺

I am Courtney, registered nurse, founder of The Fit Nurse Movement and someone who sat exactly where you are sitting before I decided enough was enough.

❌ What I built is not another generic wellness program that ignores the reality of your life and expects you to workout after a long shift.

✔️ It is a luxury transformation designed specifically around the nurse brain, the nurse body and the nurse schedule.

Women who enter this movement see more than 40+ pounds lost. They also feel they get their energy, confidence and life back 💗

Can you picture yourself with your current routine doing this for 10, 20, 30+ years?

The skipping meals on shift?

The diet plan your old PT who doesn’t know the demands of nursing life?

The starting over every Monday because you gave up halfway through the week?

Can you see yourself doing that at 50? At 60?

Exactly, that’s the problem...

If you cannot picture yourself doing it long term, it is not a lifestyle.
It is just another thing you are white knuckling your way through until you burn out and start over again.

Instead, a sustainable relationship with food and movement that actually fits the life of a nurse is going to get you results AND a routine that fits into your life 🩺

That is what sustainability feels like!!

If your current approach doesn’t pass the 30 year test, it might be time to build something that does 🤍🩺

You shouldn’t have to sacrifice your remaining energy after a shift just to feel good in your own skin ✨

I want to help you lose 40+ pounds in a way that feels like true self-care, not another chore!

Standard fitness plans aren’t built for people running on caffeine and 12-hour shifts. If you’ve hit a wall in the past, it’s simply because you lacked a system designed for the nursing life.

We are officially leaving the “hustle and grind” culture behind ❌

We don’t make you drag your exhausted body to the gym after a brutal shift...

✅ We actually work on creating a sustainable lifestyle that flows with your shift work, nutrition that sustains your energy and the inner healing required to move your body out of survival mode.

There is so much hope for a fresher, lighter start.

Night shifts aren’t just hard on your mind, they’re also doing this to your body 👇🏼

I know you get home after a shift with no fuel left in the tank to do anything. I get it.

You want to lie in bed, turn the lights off and stay in bed until your next shift...

It is not laziness or a lack of discipline, and a lot of the time it’s not even really night shift itself 🫣

It is what night shift is doing to your body without you realising 👇🏼

➡️ Skipping meals because twelve hours flew by and you never got a break

➡️ Eating at 3am because that was the only window you had

➡️ Running on coffee and stress hormones because nothing else was available

➡️ Slowly losing muscle mass which then slows your metabolism and makes fat loss feel impossible

Your body doesn’t know any better, and right now it’s just responding to the environment you are putting it in every single shift.

The good news? That is completely fixable.

Comment TRANSFORM and let’s hop on a call so we can find what actually works for your schedule as a nurse 🤍🩺
