First time we've ever spotted this crab on our home reef! 🦀

From what we've been able to find, it appears to be a Frilly Arrow Crab. If our identification is correct, it means yet another "alien" species has made its way into the Mediterranean.

The Mediterranean is changing, and every dive seems to reveal something new. Discovering species like this reminds us how dynamic the underwater world is and how much there still is to learn about our own home reef.
