Pose of the Week: Trikonasana (Triangle Pose)
Elegant, grounding, and expansive - Trikonasana, or Triangle Pose, teaches us how to create stability while opening the body with ease.
In Sanskrit, “trikona” means triangle, a shape symbolizing balance, strength, and harmony. This posture energizes the whole body while encouraging both length and openness through the spine, hips, and chest.
Benefits of Triangle Pose:

• Opens the hips, hamstrings, and chest
• Improves balance and posture
• Encourages spinal length and mobility

Gentle cues:
• Press evenly through both feet
• Keep the spine long instead of collapsing downward
