With the dust settled after what is the biggest multi venue series in British Drag Racing, can we take a moment to say a huge thank you to Max, James, Callum and everyone else from Santa Pod Raceway in helping put Street Weekend together. Thank you to all the competitors and teams who massively pulled it out the bag putting on a great show in spite of the crap weather!!!

Huge thank you also goes to the Straightliners crew and all the others that got stuck in and helped us co-ordinate this event at Melbourne and Evington. Thank you also to Corteco and all the sponsors that backed this event.

And finally thank you everyone who braved the weather to come and these cars in action!!!!! What a blast.

Thought this photo of Sam Agnew’s Trans Am going to bed for the night marks the end of an epic weekend nicely.

We have stickers!!!!

Street weekend competitors don’t forget to pick up your complementary competitor sticker at signing on curtesy of Straightliners. There is one per driver but we should have spares that can also be purchased for £3 a piece.

And for fans, crew, spectators etc there is also the, ‘I was there’ stickers!!! There are available for anyone to purchase £3 a pop.
All funds go to the Melbourne Infrastructure Development fund.

Get them quick while stocks last!!

Remember it’s lining up to be a cracking weekend. Come over early Friday to Elvington or early Saturday to Melbourne to see them in action. Loads more going after that though. And plenty of RWYB chances too!

Street Weekend is almost here!!!!!

Elvington Friday
Melbourne Saturday!!!!!!

200 of Britain’s coolest street worthy cars and a few street legal racecars let’s be frank will decent on the Yorkshire countryside!

Come and see them in action!!! Tickets available at both locations. Pay on the gate, plenty of camping available.

Melbourne has live music Friday and Saturday night!!! The bar will be open!!!

Come early! These cars are on track for 9am and will be heading off at lunchtime!

There is loads more track action after that though. The fantastic super quick bikes of the No Mercy series hit off among a range of other cool cars!

And remember if you want to get your own machine on the dragstrip then this is very much the weekend to do it!!! And cars and bikes welcome.

If you book a Sunday RWYB ticket for your own machine you can race Saturday afternoon too at no extra cost!! FREE DRAG RACING!! Now there’s a phrase I thought I would never write!!!!!!!!!

If you are coming to see them at Melbourne (or at Elvington) remember they’ll all be off about lunchtime once they have done their two runs fighting g it out for the £500 best reaction time prize. So GET HERE EARLY! 🚨Track action will kick off around 9am.

But after lunch the action continues. We have the No Mercy Championship, the best Junior series in the UK! will Ian Lee in the Frantic dragster add his name to the exclusive 4 second club?!

We have loads of RWYB opportunities too!!
