Massive congratulations to Glynn Dunford on winning the American Super Stock 2026 championship!!!!

Brilliant racing for the final round of what is an amazing bracket class at Melbourne. American Super Stock this weekend worked fabulously with their cousins over at Nostalgia Super Stock!!!!!

A big well done to Karl Kenyon for taking the round 10 A/SS win just pipping the mighty Dave Billadeau coming in as runner up and of course our number 1 qualifier and now 2026 champion Glynn Dunford!

Nostalgia Super Stock were amazing guests as well. Absolute privilege to be able to host them at Melbourne this weekend!!!! Really
Hope they come back later least once next year, hopefully see them a couple of times!

Chris Goodale was no.1 with a perfect 6.700 on a 6.70 dial pipping Rebecca Elliot and Karl Kenyon that were only .003 off their dials!!!

Amazing racing ensued, I won’t list it all here, Niamh on the Nostalgia Super Stock page has already given an amazing run down of proceedings that I couldn’t even begin to beat so go over and read her report but the highlight was that the A/SS champion and No.1 qualifier from Saturday only went and won in N/SS too!!!!

Well Done Glynn Dunford!!!! That man should expect a knighthood in the New Years honours list!!!!!!!

Special shout out to Rebecca Elliot and Niamh Frances Cawthorne and anyone else that has helped along the way for all their organisation and efforts!! Without you these class wouldn’t be what they are!!!

As always amazing drag racing, amazing competition. If you’ve got a big Yank sitting there come and see these people and get involved in one of the best groups in British Drag Racing!!!!!!

Our first live stream for me done and dusted and wow what a result it turned out to be!!!!

Huge thanks to Jerry Cookson, Paul Cumpstone and Stu Brook from SBPromoVids for the amazing efforts!!!

Looking at the stats we had 2.8K views on Saturday and so far 1.8K views yesterday despite the intervening rain mid way through the day.

"Discussing team tactics" This has to be one of my favourites from my day at the drag racing yesterday. Ben Rushworth, grew up at the old York Dragway. Now runs EDA Engine Data Analysis in Castleford giving a last-minute briefing to his 8-year-old driver.

4.631!!! 158mph!!!!!

Is that a new wheel driven track record?!?! It appears it is!!! The thing goes off like a scalded cat!!!!!

Massively successful weekend with a huge range of records and PBs broken!!

A bit of inclement weather aside the track continues to reel off more and more PBs. NSCC have enjoyed a bunch of them this weekend.

Derek Beck in the sweet slick TVR down to 7.20, Nick Gunby in the beautiful Fox Body Mustang 7.76, Scott Pressland in his no nonsense Toyota Hilux knocking out a 8.75, Bruce Kopasz in the coolest Porsche 944 you’ll see proving Porsche’s are a quick as the say they are with a 7.31. Mark Savage with another serious cool pick up seriously not messing about at 6.89 and Mark Johnston in the very rapid “Hamster Beige” (Nick Gunby’s words not mine) Es**rt firing put a 7.84!!!! Well done gents.
