Courses for Horses

Courses for Horses All the jumps are on grass and the track extends to 1 and 3/4 miles. The jumps are all built to a high standard of construction with only solid timbers used.

Courses for Horses is a cross-country schooling facility, based near Stamford Bridge, York, which caters for all abilities from complete novice to horse trial standards. The course is flagged up to give the appearance of a competition course. The jumps range from 1'6" (48 cm) high to 3'6" (109 cm) max.

We are delighted to welcome our new vet, Charlotte Tuplin, to the Birchwood team. Charlotte has spent the last few years working in a 24-hour, small animal referral hospital in Leeds gaining a wealth of medical experience and surgical skills. It’s great to have you on board Charlotte!
