❤️🖤 CEFΝ MAWR RANGERS U11s 4️⃣–0️⃣ MYNYDD ISA U11s 💛🖤
🏆 FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON! AND WHAT A WIN IT WAS! 🏆
🌧️⚽ A wet Saturday morning, a tough opposition, and a group of girls ready to give it absolutely everything! Our Cefn Mawr Rangers U11s girls welcomed Mynydd Isa to home turf, knowing they would be up against a well-coached side who would make them work for every inch.
But our little Rangers warriors were ready for the challenge! ❤️🖤
🔥 FIRST PERIOD: SETTING THE STANDARD!
The opening 20 minutes saw some fantastic football from both sides, with some lovely forward play matched by some determined, resolute defending. Both teams were battling hard, and the girls were really getting stuck in!
Our Rangers started to find their rhythm, and it was Mali who stepped up to the mark, bagging two brilliant goals to give us a deserved 2–0 lead at the end of the first period! ⚽⚽
A fantastic start, but there was still plenty of football to be played!
💪 SECOND PERIOD: HEART, GRIT AND DETERMINATION!
The middle period was a proper battle! Both teams showed incredible resilience, with some brilliant end-to-end football and every single player putting in a shift.
Tackles were made, passes were picked out, teammates were supported, and nobody was shying away from the challenge. It was a hard-fought 20 minutes, with both sides standing firm and neither able to find the breakthrough.
Our girls stayed disciplined, worked for each other and kept their heads in the game. Sometimes football isn't just about scoring goals; it's about digging deep, trusting your teammates and showing the determination to keep going! ❤️🖤
And that's exactly what our Rangers did!
🔥 FINAL PERIOD: FOUR GOALS, A CLEAN SHEET AND THAT FIRST WIN!
Heading into the final 20 minutes with a 2–0 lead, our girls knew they were within touching distance of something special. That first win of the season was there for the taking, and they weren't about to let the opportunity slip away!
They stood tall, believed in themselves, trusted each other and continued to play the football we know they're capable of.
And WOW, did they deliver! 🤩🔥
⚽ OLIVE FOUND THE NET to extend our lead, putting us firmly in control!
⚽ MALI COMPLETED HER HAT-TRICK! 🎩🔥 Three goals for our captain and a brilliant way to round off a fantastic individual performance!
The final whistle blew, and the scoreboard read…

🏆 OUR FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON! 🏆
Cue the smiles, the celebrations and some very proud coaches, supporters and families! 🥹❤️
But this victory was about so much more than the four goals.
👏 A TEAM PERFORMANCE TO BE INCREDIBLY PROUD OF!
Every single girl who stepped onto that pitch covered every blade of grass. They were committed, controlled, confident and, most importantly, they played for each other.
When one needed support, a teammate was there. When the opposition pushed forward, our girls stood firm. When the opportunity came to attack, they moved the ball, trusted their teammates and worked together.
This was a proper team performance, built on hard work, determination, teamwork and belief.
Everyone involved with our U11s girls is absolutely delighted to see the dedication these little warriors have been putting in finally rewarded with a victory. Every training session, every match, every challenge and every bit of hard work is helping these girls grow, both as footballers and as a team.
Watching their journey so far has been an absolute joy. Seeing them develop, grow in confidence and begin to believe in what they can achieve together is what grassroots football is all about.
And to see them celebrate that FIRST WIN? Well, that just hits differently! ❤️🖤🥹
Girls, you should be incredibly proud of yourselves. Every single one of you played your part today, and you all deserve to enjoy this moment.

Now, let's give some well-deserved recognition to today's individual awards! 👇
⭐ CAPTAIN OF THE MATCH – MALI ⭐
What a performance from our captain today! ❤️🖤
Mali led by example, showing fantastic teamwork and always looking to bring her teammates into the game. Her pressing from the front was relentless, never giving the opposition a moment's peace!
And, of course, she topped it all off with a
BRILLIANT HAT-TRICK! 🎩⚽⚽⚽
Three goals, tireless effort and a captain's performance to be proud of. The hard work is clearly paying off, Mali!
10/10 TODAY, CAPTAIN! ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! 👏🔥
⭐ OPPOSITION PLAYER OF THE MATCH – BELLA ⭐
Our little firecracker was absolutely on it today! 💥
Bella wasn't letting anyone stroll past her, getting to the ball first and making life difficult for the opposition throughout. Her determination and work rate were there for everyone to see.
What really stood out was how well she read the game. She was anticipating passes, cutting out danger and positioning herself brilliantly to support her teammates whenever they needed her.
It's fantastic to see her footballing brain developing and her confidence growing with every game.
ANOTHER SUPER PERFORMANCE, BELLA! KEEP IT UP! ❤️🖤👏
⭐ COACHES' PLAYER OF THE MATCH – MADDIE ⭐
Cool, calm and collected. That just about sums up Maddie's performance today! 🧱❤️🖤
Maddie put in a fantastic defensive display across the back line, shutting down opposition attacks and snuffing out danger before it had the chance to develop.
Her composure, awareness and determination helped keep things solid at the back, and she showed exactly what it means to be reliable for your teammates.
A brilliant defensive performance and a thoroughly deserved award!
GREAT WORK, MADDIE! AN ABSOLUTE WALL AT THE BACK! 👏🔥
