🏉 WHAT AN AFTERNOON 🏉

Great start to the season at Hatchley Barn! An amazing turnout for our Presidents Lunch, with BBQ and DJ and full credit to our own Young Men for turning up in force.

It also marked the final game for our long-serving Warrior prop, Banners, after a decade in the shirt. Legend - thank you for everything, mate. 🩵🖤

Next up: felixstowe_rugby under the lights, Friday 11th September, 7.30pm.

Today's the day - we are so excited to have you back on the pitch! Training starts TODAY for all Woodbridge Minis, Youth and Colts, boys and girls.

**10am, The Barn**

Skills, fitness, teamwork and getting the whole squad back together - but mostly, just loving being back where we belong.

**New to Woodbridge?** Come and say hello! Our committee will be pitch-side to welcome you, answer questions and get you started.

Training is BACK this Sunday for all Woodbridge Minis, Youth and Colts - boys and girls!

**Sunday 6th September, 10am — at Hatchley Barn**

Skills, fitness, teamwork and getting the whole squad back together - but mostly, just enjoying being back on the pitch.

**Returning players & parents** - quick job for you: check your details are up to date and your registration/membership is sorted before you arrive.

We’re back!

Pre-season kicks off this Saturday and there’s a lot going on at the club - bring the family, bring your mates.

📍 Saturday 5th September, Hatchley Barn IP12 2PP

1.30pm – Presidents Lunch (BBQ, free for VPs/volunteers/sponsors, open to all to purchase)
3.00pm – Woodbridge vs Ipswich YM (friendly)

4.00pm - South Africa vs New Zealand on TV

Then… DJ and music to see the day out 🎶

Refreshments available for everyone, all day. Come down, catch up after the summer, and cheer the lads on.

The new season kicks off in style! Join us for a cracking day of rugby, music, food and community as we welcome our VPs, volunteers and sponsors old and new.

**NEW VPs & Sponsors welcome — get in touch to be added!**
All club volunteers and VPs, have lunch on us!

📅 **Saturday 5th September 2026**

🍺 **11:45am** – Bar opens, VPs/Volunteers/Sponsors arrival & welcome
🍔 **12:00pm** – FREE BBQ lunch for our VPs, Volunteers & Sponsors (sign up via SportMember!)
🏉 **12:00pm** – Amazons v Ipswich YM Wyverns
🏉 **3:00pm** – Warriors v Ipswich YM
🎧 **4pm till late** – Rob DJ gets the party going

Loaded fries van on site for spectators too, so come hungry!

Fixtures:
🔹 Competitive rugby provisionally resumes w/c 21st Sept (pending RFU confirmation)
🔹 Colts — awaiting update on opening fixture
🔹 Youth — fixtures start late Sept/Oct, hoping these go ahead
🔹 Minis — festivals/fixtures after 21st Sept expected to proceed

A short delay to fixtures, but Sunday mornings are back on 6th Sept 🩵🖤
