Our official course record is 62, and we have no record of anyone bettering that in any round. We thought it would be great if we could get a course record (official competition or unofficial general round) that equals or betters the par of 60 in our 60th year. And if you are 60 this year, well that would be the cherry on top!

Just Like Buses!

Not having seen a hole-in-one on the course since mid-October, St Audrys sees two on the same day!

On Saturday 27th April Mark Walsh (on the left) holed his wedge tee shot on the 7th, to achieve his second hole-in-one.

On the same day, Richard Haste holed out for an ace on the 9th, also using wedge.

Marie Hunt Charity Day

Great scoring on a glorious day!

On Friday 15th August, St Audrys Golf Club hosted the Marie Hunt Charity Day.

Organised by Ladies member Lizzie Blowers in aid of the Dora Brown Charity in Ipswich, it raised in the region of £2,500! Find out about the charity and donate by using this address link:

On a scorching day, the halfway house was very popular, and the hole to hole buggy refreshment cart driven by Lizzie and her daughter Izzy, was vital in keeping everyone hydrated to the end.

The Texas Scramble scoring was impressive, with the winners being decided on countback. With a nett 42, the winners were Matt Blowers, Dan Blowers, Simon Ager and Mark Higgs (pictured with Lizzie on the 1st tee before heading out, followed by various other photos of the day)

Woodbridge Golf Club , represented by Roz McKenzie, Barbara Aldous, Jane Killian and Maureen Bell (pictured with trophy below) won the 2025 Charlotte's Bowl competition at St Audrys last week.

With scores of 42 and 39, they pipped Fynn Valley Golf Club into second place by a single point, and current holders St Audrys Golf Club into 3rd. Rushmere Golf Club, Southwold Golf Club and Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club est. 1880 all tied for 4th.

Congratulations to the Woodbridge ladies, and we look forward to recovering it next year ⛳️

We are pleased to announce our new Club Manager, Laurence Dalziel .

Laurence is taking over from Juliet Rhodes who has steered the club through the post-Covid era and the introduction of new technology. Juliet is taking up the role of Finance Officer.

He has been a member for 5 years, becoming Seniors Captain after 9 months, then joining the Board of Directors.

We wish him the best in his new position, and look forward to a smooth transition.
