Formed 30 years ago, Wolverhampton Ju-Jitsu Club is one of the oldest registered Ju-Jitsu clubs in the Midlands. It is an award winning club specialising in teaching the Japanese Martial Art of Ju-Jitsu. Ju-Jitsu uses a combination of grappling, strikes, blocks, holds, locks, chokes, immobilization and throws to overcome an opponent. It is an extremely effective form of self defence and a good for

m of overall physical exercise for people of all ages and fitness levels. Instructors are qualified up to NVQ Level 3 in Teaching & Coaching in addition to the dai nippon butoku kai recognised coaching courses. Sensei Terry Boorer is the Chief Instructor of the association holding a 6th Dan in Ju-Jitsu. Terry also holds ranks as 3rd Dan Ju-Jitsu Dai Nippon Butoki Kai, Japan (Juko Ryu, Myo Shin Ryu, Hontai Yo Shin Ryu)
