First training session back last night after a long summer off from training.

We started off with our new structured warm up, before going into some basic ball passing and then into a mid court and shooting drill.

We then went into games where both teams worked on developing connections and passes.

Was so good to be back all together and we all look forward to playing in league this season. 💚💗

That’s a wrap on the very first Gravity Summer League!

Week 12 saw West Lothian Netters and Team Gravity take to court for the final match of our summer competition — and it was a great game to finish on!

Gravity experimented with a brand-new team warm-up before the match and came out firing, settling quickly and taking the lead through the first half.

But Netters weren’t going anywhere! A few impact players entered the game and immediately disrupted Gravity’s flow. Combined with some strong, confident attacking play, Netters turned the match around and took the lead during the third quarter.

Gravity made a few changes heading into Q4 and started to close the gap, but Netters kept their foot on the gas and powered through to secure the win. 👏

Congratulations to West Lothian Netters on a very well-played game and a deserved victory! 💪

And just like that… 12 weeks of summer netball are complete! 🥹🏐
What a brilliant way to keep everyone playing, competing and enjoying their netball throughout the summer. 💚💗

Week 11 and our penultimate Gravity Summer League match took place last night, with the lovely ladies of Braes Blazers Netball Club and Hot Shotts Panthers Netball Club taking to the court! 🏐✨

Hot Shotts came out firing and took an early lead in the first quarter, but Braes kept battling right through to the final whistle. 💪 Another fun, friendly night of netball and a brilliant way to round off the summer holidays! ☀️

A huge thank you to Braes Blazers and Hot Shotts for getting involved in our summer league, and to last night’s umpires April Aitken and Bob Mather for keeping everything running smoothly. 👏🏻

We’ve absolutely loved hearing your feedback too… 🥹💚

Turns out we we’re pretty good at it and all managed to stand on our feet, even if there were some nose dives😂

☀️ Week 10 of the Gravity Summer League ☀️

Team Gravity and Braes Blazers came together for another fun—and very toasty—night of netball! 🏐🔥

Both teams took a little time to settle, with strong defensive units at each end keeping the score low throughout the opening two quarters. The game soon came to life, though, with both teams finding their rhythm and producing some beautiful passages of play in an exciting second half. 👏

A huge thank you to Braes Blazers and our umpires Ashley and Jordan for another brilliant evening of friendly netball! 💚🩷

We also had the pleasure of presenting our lovely Niamh with her end-of-season awards. Niamh received the award for the most Player of the Match votes and was also chosen by her teammates as the winner of the Team Spirit Award! 🏆✨

Very well deserved—congratulations, Niamh! 💕
