💔 Heart break for the boys after 3 hours of football they lost out with under 30 seconds remaining - truly gutted for them as they absolutely deserved something more from the day.

No doubting they go again stronger than ever 💪

Well done again to West End 👏

Well done for the 2nd year running to the winners of our 2026 Festival West End FC 2013. After a brilliant day of football, West End faced Broxburn Colts 2013s in the final & grabbed a late goal to win 1-0. 🏆⚽️

Thanks to KB 1 2 1 Coaching, Cumnock Juniors Boys Club 2013s, Holytown Colts 2013, Ardrossan Whitlees FC 2013, Third Lanark 2013 Blacks, Condorrat Football Club 2013's & Charlie Miller for making it a great day with some fantastic talent on show! 🔴⚫️🔴⚫️

What a line up…

a line up that includes Scotlands top 2 and recent Scottish cup winners & runners up… 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

A line up that see’s us come up against a team who put us out in the last 16 of the Scottish .. 🤕

A line up that see’s us come up against a team we put out only on penalties to reach the final 16 in Scotland 🤩

Tasty stuff & we know we have to be at our best to even compete but, a credit to how far the group have come 🙌🏻⚽️💪

FRIENDLY Vs Blue Brazil (A) 🔴⚪️🔴

Playing into a pretty strong persistent wind a factor but not an excuse in the first half - an unwillingness to show bravery to get on the ball, win the ball, use the ball the right way made the wind an even bigger factor. The wind being a factor we’ve seen ourselves play better against in the past with our ball usage. As poor a first half as we’ve seen from the boys going in 3-0 down at the break with no complaints of the scoreline only the application.. something we don’t often ever have to worry about with the group. 👍

Much better second half, trying to do the right things and work as a unit from back to front. Getting a goal back and probing for another, whilst possibly being guilty of being too direct which is natural trying to close the deficit - saw us picked off on the break. We created a couple of more chances without hitting the net.

A sting before what is a massive weekend at the Mill United tournament against the absolute best Scotland has to offer 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 ⚽️

FRIENDLY : Vs Duloch BC (A) 🔴⚪️🔴

Whilst we patiently await the outcome of our season and league cup campaign we were welcomed over the bridge to Dunfermline 🌉 ⚽️

After a positive first 5 in possession.. a simple break away, a goal down! The boys recomposed themselves and started creating chances - managing to get ourself a goal to the good by half time and probably should have been more but not quite ruthless enough at the end of the nice play. 🪄

Second half, a different animal - quicker and snappier, maybe not quite so fluent in parts football wise but had killer instinct in anything we did we purpose resulting in some fantastic indidvual and team goals. The last goal too, after coaches demands that we move the ball better and quicker with quality..

The lads shouts to each other as they celebrated with ‘what a goal boys’ and maybe a shout or 2 to coaches of ‘did we move the ball well enough there?’ .. was met with a total coaches response of ‘Naw, theres more in you!’ 😂

Hibs away ah huh ah huh 🎶 🔴⚪️🔴

A good experience for the boys last midweek down HTC.

First 30 minutes was positive, comfortable without being brilliant playing high up the park and in Hibs half for long periods. This was finished off with 2 great finishes that saw us win the 1st period 🤩

Second 30 we changed things up personnel and formation wise which evidently didn’t work as our play slowed down, we found ourself deeper and gave the young hibees a chance to gain confidence which they snapped up along with some poor decision making at the back meaning we lost the 2nd period 🤕

Final 30, more changes and reverting back to the previous formation we got back at it creating a good few chances that we didn’t manage to take, some very close and others that should have been closer given the chance. But a late goal saw us win the final 3rd 🙌🏻

Overall a great experience but nowhere near our best especially of late, but that’s partly down to ourselves and also down to the young hibees bouncing back the 2nd period whilst we took our foot off the gas ⛽️

Plenty lessons learnt and we hope to do it again soon 🤝

LEAGUE CUP GROUP MATCH 8 :-
Vs Galafairydean Rovers (H) 🔴⚪️🔴

A dominant first half but after going 1-0 up failed to kill the game off by half time which for a long time we wondered if it would come back to haunt us as the game went on!

Some second half composed finishes saw us comfortably out of sight but after priding ourselves on plenty clean sheet recently we were disappointed to concede a late goal, BUT..

7 wins. 1 loss. Topped the group with 21pts out a possible 24pts. An impressive league cup group for the boys against top opposition 👏
