A big shout out to all of our amazing volunteers! ❤️🦁

Winchburgh Lions Youth Football Club simply wouldn’t be the club it is without the dedication, time, and passion of our volunteers.

We are incredibly grateful to all of our coaches who inspire and develop our young players every week, our fantastic admin team who work tirelessly behind the scenes, Michael and Marlene for everything they do in the Lions Den, and all of the parents who support the club throughout the season.

Your commitment, encouragement, and hard work help create a positive environment where our players can learn, grow, and enjoy football.

Saturday's Man of the Match goes to Mason Cass, whose outstanding performance helped drive the team forward. The coaches praised Mason's great desire, work rate, and determination throughout the game.

Mason was clinical in front of goal, bagging a superb first-half hat-trick and playing a key role in the team's success.

We are looking for a couple of players to complete our new 2016s team.

Training has started and will continue to take place on a Monday & Wednesday, 6-7.30pm at Station Road Park, Broxburn.

Children who were born in 2016 (2017 players are welcome if they would like a challenge).

Murdo took home Man of the Match after an outstanding display in the middle of the park 👏

His touches, turns and passing were on another level. Added to that was his fight, determination and relentless work rate from first whistle to last. A mesmerising performance and easily his best game yet 💪🦁

Not our best start, but the boys showed real character to turn it around and get the win 💪🦁

A strong second half performance, great teamwork, and goals throughout the squad saw us run out 5-2 winners. Big saves from JJ when needed and a massive performance from Murdo in the middle earning him Man of the Match 👏

Great to have players returning from injury and everyone getting valuable minutes.
