Dorset FA have made an official announcement that all FA youth league match matches will commence in the middle of September

The rationale behind this decision is supported by BCP Council that all grass football pitch are too hard underfoot due to the drought that we have all experience through the summer

It is thought that the weather will be changing + more rain will happen over the next couple of weeks which will make the pitch playable

PDC are blessed to have full use of the 4G at Cobham and friendly matches will be organised during this period until the leagues commence

Just a clarify, this will not interrupt training or any friendly matches that PDC coordinate on the 4G

A huge thank you to Southampton FC Academy for the invitation to the prestigious Academy Staplewood Cup.

Our Pathway Development Centre (PDC) U10s represented the PDC extremely well, competing with great attitude, commitment and quality across all areas.

It was a fantastic experience for the players, and we were delighted to finish with a fair draw against our hosts. ⚽️👏

We’re incredibly proud of the boys and grateful for the opportunity to compete at such a fantastic academy venue.

⚽ PATHWAY DEVELOPMENT CENTRE (PDC) FOOTBALL & EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP 2026/27 ⚽

Pathway Development Centre (PDC) is delighted to invite all U16, U17, U18 and U19 players to attend our Open Trials throughout July and August for our 2026/27 Football & Education Scholarship Programme.

This full-time scholarship is fully funded by the UK Government, combining elite football development with outstanding educational opportunities.
Students will study a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching and Development, equivalent to three A-Levels, providing a direct pathway to employment or university through UCAS.

PDC education suppott / teachers provide individual support and high-quality teaching to help every student achieve their academic goals while preparing for their chosen career pathway.

PDC is proud to offer genuine football progression opportunities, with pathways into the DPL, Wessex League, Southern League, National League, and introductions to professional clubs across the country

Upon completion of the programme, players will also have the opportunity to progress through PDC’s established pathways into playing and further education scholarships in the USA 🇺🇸

Pathway Development Centre Awards & Presentation Evening 2026

On Friday 26th June 2026, Pathway Development Centre held its biggest-ever Awards and Presentation Evening, with over 100 players, parents, coaches, volunteers and supporters coming together to celebrate another fantastic season.

The evening was a huge success and it was wonderful to see so many people recognising the hard work, dedication and achievements of our players throughout the 2025/26 season.

We have been overwhelmed by the amazing feedback received following the event, which made all the planning worthwhile.

A huge thank you goes to everyone who attended and helped make the evening so special. Whether you were collecting an award, supporting from the audience, volunteering behind the scenes or coaching throughout the season, your contribution to PDC is greatly appreciated.

Congratulations to all of our teams on another successful year.

A special mention goes to our Under 9s, who reached the Testway Finals, and our Under 11s, who were crowned League Champions—fantastic achievements that everyone associated with the club is incredibly proud of.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Cobham Sports & Social Club for their outstanding support and hospitality on the evening. Their efforts played a huge part in making the event such a memorable success.

As one season comes to an end, we now look forward with excitement to the next.

The 2026/27 season promises to be our biggest yet, with 16 teams representing Pathway Development Centre, including several new teams joining the club.

Thank you once again to everyone who has helped to put their special event together and made it a huge success

Pathway Development Centre (PDC) are proud to announce our Talent ID Showcase Event on 25th May 2026 in collaboration with our friends and partners at YSE London.

The Talent ID Showcase Event is open to players from Under 12s to Under 16s who are currently competing at JPL level or have previously been involved within a professional club environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for players to showcase their talent and ability in front of an array of professional club lead scouts and recruitment managers.
