🏆🧙♀️ DIVISION 2 COUNTY CHAMPIONS!!! 🧙♀️🏆
Wow… what a day. And WHAT a season!!! 💚
We thought our season was over after winning the Division 2 North & West League… only to discover there was one more game to play! 😅
A County Final against the winners of Division 2 South & East.
So, one last time, the Witches took to the pitch… 🧙♀️🏏
Batting first, things definitely didn’t all go our way. Our last pair stepping out on a score of 208....
And finishing on 251. 💪
Then came the defence…
What followed was an absolute nail-biter. Brilliant fielding, catches taken, boundaries stopped and some fantastic, accurate bowling kept us right in the game.
It all came down to the final over… and the Witches held their nerve. ❤️🔥
WE DID IT!!!

And a huge shout-out to our Witch of the Match, Josie 🧙♀️⭐️
Three 4s, a catch, phenomenal bowling and the small matter of bringing the win home in that incredibly tense final over. What a performance! 👏👏👏
But this was never about one player or one game.
Every single Witch has played a part in what we’ve achieved this season — those on the pitch today, those that have played throughout the season, those cheering us on from the sidelines and those desperately refreshing their phones for updates because they couldn’t be there! 😂💚
We didn’t just win a final today.
We showed that it is NEVER over until it’s over.
A little self-belief, a lot of teamwork and a group of women who simply refused to give up. 🧙♀️💪
From winning our league to becoming COUNTY CHAMPIONS… what a season.
We could not be prouder of this team and everything we’ve built together.
And yes… we promise…
