Thank you to all 30 members who attended the club's meeting on Monday night! We thought it was hugely productive.

The notes have been written up and will be available on the noticeboard at the range tomorrow (Friday 12th June). For anyone wanting a pdf version please either DM us on here or email us and we can provide a copy.

When you get the feeling there is a theme emerging...

Apparently 'Goo' had to retrieve this forgotten soul and give it a good scrub down after last night's meeting too.

Any guesses as to who is the culprit and this one belongs to?

The Good, the Bad, and the Forgotten Brew. 🤠☕️

Cue the dramatic harmonica... There is nothing more tragic than a lonely cuppa left behind at the end of a range session

(Fear not, partners - the owner spotted it at the final showdown, wrangled it off the table, and gave it a good old-fashioned scrub down.) 🧼

🥁 Drum roll please 🥁

Congratulations to our first 48 dot challenge winner... Ray Kirkland who takes the podium with a score of 96 🏆

Followed closely by:
🥈Kevin Dybell - 95 (so close!)
🥉 Stephen Pullman - 84; and
Gordon Edmunds in 4th with a very credible 75.

Prize pots as follows:
1st - £18.40, 2nd - £9.20, 3rx - £6.90 and the remainder £11.50 goes to the club.

Thank you, and a huge well done, to everyone that took part. Can anyone top Ray's score next month? We hear on the grapevine he may have some new kit from 25 Bull Benchrest and Airgun Accessories... will this give him an edge or someone the opportunity to take over as he gets used to it?

Tango Bob left the building, but he managed to leave this calling card sticker fused to the range floor.

We’ve tried scraping it and allsorts but it appears to be part of the foundations now. It’s given us some time to come up with some theories though....

Current theories include:
1. It’s covering up a structural crack he caused and doesn't want us to know about 🤔

2. He used military-grade glue on purpose just to annoy everyone 🤦🏼‍♀️

3. It’s a homing beacon for his next visit 🏡

What’s your theory? Best one wins bragging rights in the comments. 👇

Competitions Update 👇🏼
Huge WELL DONE to Ray who is the current club record holder for 48 dot challenge - can anyone beat him? 🏆

Update on the Benchrest comp - some may have seen this on the member email but instead of the comp we are considering starting a yearly benchrest league.

It will be run from June 1st with no cost to enter but it must be shot on a benchrest card - either your own or 50p from the club. It must be stamped and signed by a range officer before you shoot it. One card per month & after the first 6 months the leagues will be set according to how many are entered. At the end of the year the winner of each league will be presented with a cup. The top 2 from each league will go up and the bottom 2 will drop down.

We have had a few sign up already but please let us know if you would like to sign up to it. The more the better to make it run properly. Either drop us a message on here, email or let us know next time you are in.

Members who have already had a go in the current competition will be able to claim their money back or donate it to the club.
