Pools Youth 2-0 Baggies
A few words for coach Kev⚽️
A tough game today against a team from the division above.
First half though I thought we played some really good football, the way we were passing it round was very encouraging. We had a few chances but We couldn’t find the opening goal. Then pools started coming into the game and Shortly before half time we conceded. 1-0 down was harsh on us as we played well.
Second half we started ok, but pools now started to get a foot hold of the game and we found ourselves chasing the game a little. We managed to stay in the game though we just couldn’t get that goal to get us back in it, but again we had chances. Then pools caught us on the counter attack and scored a great long range effort to go 2 up.
Some real hard graft today, but fitness again towards the end was showing with tired legs and niggles. But everyone put a shift in today, Alexis brilliant in goal, back line strong, midfield controlled for large spells and Courtney worked tirelessly up front.

Alice, solid at the back again, covering well, last ditch blocks and tackles and calmness when in possession.
