At the end of this month, we welcome Légèreté Master Teacher Sylvia Stössel to the U.K, to teach the summer Instructor training clinic.

We also welcome spectators to these clinics! And this time we will be offering free interactive workshops and demonstrations, providing hands on experiences and detailed information from our licensed instructors, just for spectators.

In the Ecole de Légèreté we talk a lot about the subtle and complex language of the aids. The seat is the 'Mother of all Aids'. - but the rein aids are primary. Our hands can have delicate and interesting conversations about relaxation, balance, posture, straightness and much more. It takes commitment and practice to develop both the understanding and physical dexterity to be able to use the reins in this way.

On Saturday lunchtime there will be a fun hands-on session to help develop your understanding and practical ability in applying the rein aids - with Licensed instructor Nikki Stephens. This is open to all.

Learn the feel you need to develop on your own horse by practising on a fellow spectator!

No equipment needed - just your bare hands...

Fun day at the Somerset Show today .Everyone had a good time and ponies and handlers behaved themselves.(Adults too!,)It wasn’t Rene’s turn to shine this year - it was Molly’s - ably shown by Amy to win her class and the Ring 2 championship .
Scout, Rene and Ella all came home with rosettes so a good day all round. The outing was a thankyou to the girls for their help with pony mornings .😊.
Many thanks to everyone who pitched in to help on the day and beforehand .

A couple of rare spaces have opened up for the ridden clinic at Burcott on the 9th of March. The day will begin with an educational but fun lecture in the cosy cabin, with tea/coffee and cake provided. The riders will then tack up one at a time and begin the learning with Nikki Stephens. She will spend the first half of the lesson identifying what changes need to be made and why and then you will move to the other side of the arena where Tamsin Tarr will further help you with your position balance and aids, solidifying what you have learned. After lunch, all the riders will split into two groups and you will benefit from a group lesson with both instructors at your disposal.

This is a fun and informative day and you will have time to ask questions and really further your understanding of 'WHY' we love Legerete.

RIDDEN CLINIC AT BURCOTT! Our March the 9th clinic is open for bookings now. We have a few spaces, ridden and spectator, left. Please contact Fry for details.

This is the first in our ridden 'LEARN LEGERETE' series which will be held through the course of the summer. These clinics will follow on from our Winter Workshops where we focused on the 'How to' of Legerete. It is a beautiful system of training. Learning to be aware of our position, aids and bodies can greatly improve our classical riding and above all, create a willing, soft horse who finds it easy to do his job.
