After nine years of dedicated service (4 as Chairman), this season marks the end of Jamie's tenure as Chairman of South Pembs Sharks.
It is difficult to put into words the impact he has had on our club. Through countless hours of hard work, commitment, and passion, he has helped shape South Pembs Sharks into the club we know today. From supporting players and coaches, to driving the club forward behind the scenes, his contribution has been nothing short of extraordinary.
Many people see the match days, tournaments, and successes on the pitch, but few see the countless hours spent answering emails, attending meetings, organising fixtures, solving problems, completing paperwork, and constantly fighting to create opportunities for girls' rugby in Pembrokeshire Jamie has done all of this, and much more, for nearly a decade.
Under his leadership, hundreds of girls have been given opportunities to develop their rugby, build friendships, and create memories that will last a lifetime. His dedication to growing the girls' game in Pembrokeshire has left a legacy that will continue to benefit future generations of players.
While Jamie is stepping down as Chairman, we're delighted that he isn't going far. He will continue coaching our U18s, where his passion for player development and love of the game will remain a huge asset to the club.
On behalf of everyone connected with South
Pembs Sharks - past and present players, coaches, volunteers, parents, supporters, and committee members - we would like to say a heartfelt thank you.
Thank you for your leadership. Thank you for your commitment. Thank you for your passion. Thank you for nine incredible years.
Enjoy the extra free time... although we're not
entirely convinced you'll know what to do with it!
Once a Shark, always a Shark.
