🏆 Awards Night 🏆
We concluded our season with the annual awards night on Saturday.
William Cann received the Coaches / Captains award. Returning from University in Leeds at the start of the season.
Will has played a massive part in the growth of our young squad.
Oliver Cole was the recipient of the Players Player Award.
A position change early into the season has seen Oli grow in confidence and what better way than to have the support of your peers!
Jacob Hinckley & Matty Wood could not be split for the Breakthrough Player this year.
With them both still U20 it shows the talent we have coming through.
Jacob in the engine room and Matty finding his feet in the 15 shirt. They are both different roles but they have really made the position their own!
Rob Thompson was chosen as 2nd team Coaches Player of the year. You could count on one hand how many training sessions Rob missed throughout the year and he gives 100% every time he crosses that whitewash. A real credit to have within our club.
James Ellison was voted by his fellow team mates as Players Player for the 25/26 season.
Thoroughly deserved after such a great season for James, seeing him rewarded with a couple of consecutive starts in the first team towards the end of the season.
A fierce tackler and very hard runner going forward!
