Safety Update

This evening at approximately 6:00pm, we received a report of a person entering the car park carrying a weapon.

We took this report very seriously and immediately called the police while placing the centre into lockdown.

There was one witness, and the only description provided was of a male dressed in all black, who was seen leaving the premises just moments later. Importantly, the individual did not approach the school, the sports centre buildings, or any of the outdoor facilities.

Police attended promptly, carried out a thorough search of the surrounding areas and the site, and confirmed everything was safe and clear. No one was hurt or harmed at any point.

We want to sincerely thank, coaches, parents, and children for their swift and calm response in moving safely into the main building.

The safety of our community is always our highest priority. We are grateful to have such amazing customers who work with us as a team, helping us to ensure the sports centre continues to be a safe and welcoming place for everyone to enjoy.
