Hi All,
Following the success of our free six-week Back to Netball programme, and the lovely feedback we received from those who took part, we’re really pleased to be continuing the sessions from September. We'd now love to welcome you as part of the Belgrave Netball Club community and hope that Back to Netball will become a permanent part of our club.

Belgrave is a friendly, inclusive community club and we want everyone to feel part of the wider Belgrave family, whether you simply enjoy coming along to Back to Netball each week or, in time, decide you’d like to explore other playing opportunities within the club.

Our Back to Netball sessions will start on 7th September 2026

Mondays 6.30–7.30pm (during school term time)
Membership: £15 per month

The sessions will continue to be friendly, inclusive and enjoyable, whether you’re returning to netball after a few years (or quite a few!), or simply want a fun and sociable way to keep active. There’s absolutely no expectation to play competitively – the focus is on enjoying netball, developing skills, keeping active and being part of the club.

To help our coaches plan each session around attendance, we ask everyone to download the Spond app where each training session will be loaded as an event and you can accept if you can attend and decline if you need to miss a week. Sessions will be held outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather and bring a drink.

Due to a few last-minute dropouts, we’re looking for 3 lovely netball players to join us for a fun tournament this Saturday 11th July! 🏐☀️

No need to come with a team — just bring yourself, your trainers and your love of netball! Come and enjoy the sunshine, play plenty of netball, meet new people and make some new friends. ❤️

Today we celebrate the incredible women and girls who make Belgrave Netball Club such a strong, supportive and inspiring community. From new players taking their first steps on court, to experienced teammates who lead by example, every member plays a part in building confidence, friendship and resilience through sport.

Netball is more than a game – it’s teamwork, empowerment and belonging.

Here’s to the women who play, coach, support and inspire the next generation at Belgrave Netball Club. ❤️🏐

A well matched game of netball for the Robins to finish off for the year 🎄 we took on Melbourne Comets, a game we knew would be tough given the table positions so we started prepared with 9 lined up. The flu had different ideas for us however as we quickly dropped to 7 this morning 🤧🙈.

A loss for the team 29-24 to Melbourne. A very unfortunate loss as we definitely put out some stellar netball, we just needed a couple of extra legs to help with a rather flat Q3 😅. As evidenced in our scores - we were drawing up to end of Q2 and we actually scored 7 goals each in Q4 so it was just a slightly disappointing Q3 where we lost track 🥳
I’m actually so pleased with this result given the challenge we had, so well done ladies!!

Max, Liv and Eloise made up the attack end. We worked the ball carefully through court and made some beautiful feeds and well timed moves into the circle. 👏🏻

Lauren, Emma and Shafiqah made up our defence end. They worked together and communicated so well - blocking off passes and creating turnovers by forcing balls 😍.

Special shout out to Katie who put in a cracking shift at C for 3 and GD for 1! She transitioned seamlessly into defence and got so many tips on the oppositions feeds 🤩

Despite the loss, a really enjoyable game to finish off 2025 🎅🏻🎄. Well done girls, really proud of how much we’ve all grown and gelled in this first half of the season, let’s knuckle down and show them what we’ve got for the next lot 💪🏻
