Ferndale Rodbourne YCFC is launching a brand new Under 10 Girls team, and we’re looking for enthusiastic players to join us!

Whether your daughter is new to football or has played before, everyone is welcome. This is the perfect opportunity to be part of a team from the very beginning, make new friends, develop skills, and have lots of fun!

📅 Training: Thursdays, 6:00–7:00pm
⚽ Matchdays: Saturdays

⚽️ What a debut for Ferndale U10 Girls! 💙

Saturday saw our Under 10 girls make their debut at the Harry Parker Mini Festival — and what a start it was! 👏

Up against some very well-drilled teams, the girls showed huge determination, brilliant football and a fantastic attitude throughout. Most importantly, they made plenty of new football friends along the way! 🤝⚽️

Smiles, fun, friendships and football — exactly what it’s all about. ❤️

A massive well done to every girl who took part. We couldn’t be prouder! 🌟

⚽ MATCH REPORT | Blunsdon 4–2 Ferndale

A frustrating start to the season for ferndale panthers under 15s. We played the better football, with some excellent passing and forward play, but four avoidable goals ultimately cost us.

Plenty of positives to take away with some great passages of play but we just couldn’t take on the chances today.

⚽ U16s | Ferndale 2–1 Calne 🔵⚪

The U16s welcomed Calne to Ferndale today for a hot, midday kick-off and their first game of the season in Division 2.

Ferndale made a bright start, enjoying plenty of possession but struggling to turn it into clear chances. A Calne free kick from out wide took an unfortunate bounce off the far post and into the path of an incoming Calne player, who gave the visitors a 1–0 lead.

Ferndale continued to push, winning a number of corners, but couldn’t find the breakthrough before the break. Half-time: 0–1.

The second half followed a similar pattern, with Ferndale probing forward but finding it difficult to break through a hardworking Calne side. Eventually, a ball into the Calne box fell kindly to Alfie M, who poked home to level the scores. 🙌

With both teams working incredibly hard in the heat — and a few players beginning to feel the effects — Ferndale kept battling. Another ball into the box found Alfie M, who bundled the ball home from close range to complete the turnaround! 💪⚽

Full-time: Ferndale 2–1 Calne 🎉

A fantastic hardworking team performance in challenging conditions and a great way to start our first season at this level.

There are things to improve on, but as match sharpness returns over the next few games, we’re looking forward to embracing the challenge that Division 2 will bring this season.

🦅 U13 Eagles Soar to a Fantastic Cup Victory! 🏆

After putting in the hard work and producing some strong performances throughout pre-season, the U13 Eagles travelled to Marlborough for their cup fixture — and what a performance it was! 🔥

From the first whistle, the Eagles were on the front foot, creating chance after chance and playing with great intensity. Their hard work paid off as they headed into half-time with an impressive 6–0 lead. 👏⚽

The second half saw more of the same, with the Eagles continuing to attack with purpose and creating plenty of opportunities.

Credit to Marlborough Eagles, who never stopped fighting and were kept in the game by some excellent saves from their goalkeeper. 💪👏

The Eagles continued to push right until the final whistle, securing a fantastic 14–0 cup victory. 🏆🔥

⭐ An outstanding team performance from start to finish!

🏆 Cup Exit for the Ferndale Pumas

A tough afternoon for the Ferndale Pumas, who bowed out of the cup with a 7–1 defeat to Ashton Keynes — but the final scoreline doesn’t tell the full story.

Stepping up an age group to face a side from the league above, the Pumas showed plenty of fight, character and determination. 💪

The first half was closely contested, with Ashton Keynes taking a narrow 2–1 lead into the break. After the restart, fatigue began to show and Ashton Keynes were able to extend their advantage.

Despite the result, the game was played in excellent spirit, with both teams producing a competitive and exceptionally clean contest. 👏⚽

⭐ Infinity Motors Man of the Match: Kojo
A well-taken goal and a fantastic individual performance earned Kojo the award. 👏🔥

Lots to be proud of from the Pumas — stepping up against older opposition and showing great character throughout.

⚽ U14s Secure a 6–2 Win! 💪

Our Under 14s hosted Salisbury in a morning kick-off, and it was a highly competitive opening 20 minutes, with the game swinging from end to end.

Ferndale took the lead through a well-taken strike from McLade, before Salisbury hit back following a defensive error and then produced a great strike from the edge of the box to take a 2–1 lead.

Ferndale responded brilliantly, with McLade poking home after a well-worked move before completing his hat-trick to put Ferndale ahead just before half-time. 🔥

The second half saw Ferndale take control, adding further goals through Desa, McLade and Musara to secure a comfortable 6–2 victory. 👏

A fantastic team performance and a great result! 💙⚽
