Having fun mixing it up on the day going for the gilt heads and pike, the bite was slow but luckily I managed to whip a nice gilt out nothing massive but my 2nd ever always one species I wanted to target and got lucky enough to catch this session, then we swapped over and went after some ditch pickles, me and Jacob both landing lovely pike in the process🎯🎯

One fish I don’t target enough but will always appreciate is the good old flounder, always love bumping into them on the river, haven’t fished much locally this year and usually get a nice few out, but this lil fella is the first one of the year and a welcomed one at that😁🎣
